This is an absolutely phenomenal school. My two children are going on five years here and we could not be happier. Before coming to FA we tried homeschooling, public schooling, and another local private school and nothing compares to the quality of FA. The teachers and administration are supportive, caring, kind and qualified. The classroom sizes are small (my daughter's class has 12 students), the academics are challenging and engaging, and there are amazing opportunities for extra curricular activities and growth (for example, my son's class is taking an ecology-focused field trip to Costa Rica for spring break to study leatherback sea turtles). There are wonderful art, music and theatre programs at every level. To top it all off, FA has an indexed tuition program that considers each applicant's financial situation and adjusts tuition requirements accordingly. This makes the school accessible to families that might otherwise find the price tag too high. I can't think of one negative thing to say about this school.

This place is horrible, they are absolutely the worst. My child just started this year and they suspended her twice!!!! How do you suspend a four-year-old child from pre-k!!!! As an adult, if you can't handle a 4-year-old then maybe you shouldn't be teaching four year old children!!!!

Impressive until it's not. It's a real shame what happened to this school. They have an aura of racial and ethical superiority, which, should have no place in modern society. You don't need to pay 18,000 dollars a year to get a high school diploma. The best thing I ever learned...ivy league universities, or even bottom of the barrel schools, do not care remotely about Fredericksburg Academy, or your diploma from this school. This school has no weight or leverage in getting your child a successful life or career. It's high-school with a few expensive bells and whistles, nothing more. It doesn't give you a leg up from the competition. Get with the program and stop wasting your money.

We were so lucky to join the FA family for last year at school. They did so well through the home schooling, very active and fully engaged and we are so pleased that they have been able to open physically this year. Keep up the great work.
