HORRIBLE management.
There is definitely a backstory to this review which which does not lend well to the horrible bedside manner of current management team. There has been very poor communication from management team, and during times of communication it has been very unprofessional.
Not at all surprised they’re willing to treat people poorly/unfairly then cry victim when they receive a negative review. No rules were broken by me that resulted in this review, and the response of the facility only proves their maltreatment of guests and customers as well as their unprofessional demeanors.

Easy to get the storage unit I needed, rental process is very streamlined. Susan is a peach. If I have issues, she takes care of it. Prices vary depending on your storage needs.

This storage is comparable to any other storage but we left because they kept increasing the rates every few months for NO reason. The people there are not always friendly but it depends on who you see on a given day and what mood they are in.

I highly recommend the Falmouth Self Storage facility. The staff member I have encountered is named Don, he was extremely polite and made my registration process easy and painless. I was able to do everything online through email, didn't even have to go into the office, how convenient.... I will definitely use this place again in the future. I highly recommend to anyone in or near the Stafford County area.

First time renter at this location. I was first drawn in by the great reviews and made the decision to do business here based on the staff. Porsha was sooo pleasant and helpful on the phone when I inquired about RV parking availability. Ultimately, I had to call back to speak with the manager, which was no problem at all. If I could not secure a space, I would have been so disappointed since I had a great experience just on the phone alone.
When I visited the location, I found the premises and office space to very clean and well taken care of. The location is right off of 95 and close to the local camp grounds, which is perfect for me. Susan made the process so painless from touring the grounds to filling out the paperwork. I was also impressed by her Certified Self Storage Manager credentials and the security measures she has in place. I had a sense that she really enjoys what she does and that she cares about the facility. The fact that her husband is a Marine and I’m a Marine was icing on the cake. :-)
***Update***
Jul 2023: I'm relocating and will no longer need the lot. No issues at all during the last four years. I would highly recommend this facility.

I cant think of a single reason not to rate 5 stars, and I dont rate 5 starts very often because to me, that means perfection, which is hard to attain.In the case of this facility, the security seemed top notch, the facility itself was clean and they even provide a moving cart in the hall to help you roll things to your unit. I like that all vehicles have to also use the security code to get out of the facility.Susan was very helpful all along the way, even taking me on the golf cart to view the storage space before doing the paperwork. Even the locks available for purchase in the office were reasonably priced.There is also a public bathroom available inside the gates which is very convenient. Sometimes you are there for a solid period of time and it would be awful to not be able to use the bathroom there somewhere. Of course some people are nasty and leave it a mess, but there is a sign asking you to report that to them. I totally forgot to do that when someone before me blew the place up (if you know what I mean). It occurred to me that I didn't when I left and was so embarrassed that Susan would think I had done it, I called to insure she knew it wasnt me!

Last year I was trying to find a storage unit in a pinch. I called Falmouth Self Storage and Porsche was able to help me immediately. She made the rental process easy and she was so friendly.The facility was always clean and tidy. The gate was always properly working and secured. I felt confident that my personal belongings were safe.The staff are all friendly and so helpful.

Porcha in the office was Fantastic and super friendly, their prices were very responsible compared to the “other” National chain storage facilities. AND the facilities were super clean. HIGHLY recommend !
