This review is long overdue. CRAH were incredible when it was time to say goodbye to our senior-baby-girl. We'd stayed well past opening time and were not rushed, we were treated like family, and that's more than we could have asked for. The compassion and kindness that we felt was everything. Over the past few years, we've always been very pleased with how Confederate Ridge has taken care of our girl. Surgery, diagnosis of skin problems (that we'd been paying for injections at $100 a pop at another vet, who completely misdiagnosed and overcharged us), and general checkups - always on point. We could tell she was loved and cared for by staff whenever we showed up. There's usually a wait to be seen, and appointments can take a while to get with how popular CRAH has become. Even though we live over an hour and a half away, I'd still come back here if we add to our family again.

Quality service, excellent prices and wonderful staff. Clean facility centrally located. Fear free and treats my pets like their own. Open 7 days a week for boarding and meds pick up. Super sweet knowledgeable veterinarians.

With my two senior dogs as new patients, I could not be more delighted with Confederate Ridge! The care and kindness they showed my anxiety ridden English Pointer was gracious and wonderful! And there was no hint of anxiety when I brought my American Staffordshire Terrier in for a check up! They are all his new favorite people! I am so happy to have found them.

Confederate Ridge Animal Hospital is an excellent facility for your favorite furball(s). Both our kids love going there, which is a HUGE change from coaxing them to appointments at their previous vet. The staff is warm and welcoming and it's obvious they care for every pet that comes through their doors. The vets and vet techs focus on the wellbeing of every animal and actively listen to your concerns about them (if any) during your appointment. They spend time talking to them and petting them before each exam to lessen any anxiety they may have instead of instantly poking, prodding and taking rectal temps. (Actually, they spoil them almost as much as we do.) Being retired and on a pretty strict budget, we also appreciate the fact that they won't hesitate to outsource scripts if the owner finds a less expensive price somewhere else. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone seeking a skilled, caring veterinary facility such as Confederate Ridge for their family pet(s). We're soooo happy we switched (and so are our kids)!!

I've trusted Confederate Ridge with the care of my pup since she was no more than 8 months old! They have always provided me with sound guidance and plenty of understanding and dialogue in the best vet-to-dog-owner relationship I've ever experienced. They performed her spay procedure without any complications and she recovered well, and every visit is fairly smooth-sailing for her (since most dogs dislike the vet already) because of the copious amounts of treats and affection they shower her with. I know they love their patients just as much as the pet-parents do, and it's evident in their treatment methods, conversation with us, and overall empathy that they have.

I've taken our pets to this clinic for years now. The clinic seems to be really good. But when I called to schedule the next appointment, they would not tell me if everyone was vaccinated. The receptionist tried the old (and debunked) "it's a HIPAA violation" for me to even ask the question. I am seriously in the hunt for a clinic that cares as much about the humans bringing in their pets and they do about the pets.

I was really hoping this place would be different than the rest, but it's not. Took my cat to get looked at because she was hyper sensitive on her back ever since getting some fleas and using a topical flea and tick killer. They didn't really talk about the itching, but up sold me on blood work and a shot of pain meds. Blood work came back normal. I gave it two months to see if it would resolve itself, but it wouldn't. Setup another appointment hoping to try something else, but they wanted to do a whole exam again. Why? To charge me another visit? You already have the normal blood work and a very recent exam. Did not make any sense to me. Looks like another vet that cares more about your money than your pet. I would have given them a lower rating if not for one of their veterinarians correctly diagnosing an eye issue with my dog when three others vetsfailed. Well you guys lost our two German Shepherd dogs and our two cats as customers.

First time appointment. We were on time and still waited 40 minutes for appointment. We were never informed they were running behind. I'm patient person, but cannot stand to see other dogs (our pet is a dog) who arrived after us and still get in before us. Had high hopes but were dissapointed in the end.

I brought a cat in with a rash on her back. I paid over $100 for tests on top of the vet fee to find out what was wrong. When I finally went to another vet, he took one look and said "She has a flea allergy", gave her a shot and she recovered. Have never gone back to Confederate Ridge.

Dr. Collins and staff were so compassionate when we had to say goodbye to our Ike. Confederate Ridge has been there with us every step and I can't be more thankful. Today was a hard day for us but everyone made it a little easier. They all showed a true and heartfelt compassion for our loss. Dr. Collins was gentle and really seemed to understand how hard it was for us. Thank you so much. Please if you have animals you could not find a more loving and genuine practice to entrust with your furbabies.

Most sincere vet we've been to. They seem to actually care for the health of the animal rather than try to sell you overpriced stuff. Love their boarding program too!

I needed to get a rabies vaccine for my miniature schnauzer. Money was tight and I called since they had treated my dog Denali for 14 years that maybe they would give me a break on the $70.00 office fee. They would not. I took my dog who was in excellent condition , you can see that if you wish by the video I took of him before the vaccination. The shot clinic at Tractor Supply was where I had to take him. The Vet there was acting funny and yelled at me at having a dog 14 years old. She filled her vial with over 6cc of rabies vaccine and my sister and I tried to stop her but she was too fast and filled my little dog with the vaccine. The next day he collapsed and I took him to my Vet at Confederate Ridge Animal hospital. Before they would help him I had to commit to their fee of $50. They ran his numbers and his liver was almost shut down. I was given that was very sweet with condolences. I Now have a bill for $112.00 where they put him down. If they had given me a discount or a payment plan my dog would still be alive. I have filed a complain with the state about the Vet at Tractor Supply.
