We've only had great experiences at this store. The new renovation has the store looking great. The shoe selection is very nice with a specialty area for cleats and even golf shoes. The young lady (I think her name was Madison?) who helped us pick out golf shoes was knowledgeable and friendly. Although the store was closing soon, she didn't rush us in our decision but helped us make the best decision for us.

Bought speedo swimming googles 5 days ago and the rubber band snapped, tried to get an exchange but they refused because we didn’t buy a replacement plan, this is ridiculous, the manager John Mitchell said that there’s nothing he can do. I’d been coming to this store for years (20+) and this is my first time returning something and this is how they treat their loyal customers???, never buying from this place again.

Does not honor return policy for anything. Basically, don't buy anything in store. Do it all online so that someone actually has to follow "policy". Very unhelpful staff all around and there are better locations to go to.

RJ of the shoe department was very helpful with finding us shoes. If you're looking for a certain shoe in a certain size, he's your guy.

Im being nice giving 2 stars. Tried to make a return and got 0 help! Was told no one would be able to help me or find my order number. I called the help desk and got my order number in less than 1 min. The staff is not very professional or worried about their customers. I will NOT Be coming back.

Great turnout for Jahan Dotson, Washington Commanders' wide receiver. The grand reopening was a chance for local fans to get autographs and photos with a rising star in the NFL.

This one star review is for the company overall. They sent me a "Special Grand Opening" $10 off coupon. When shopping at the store, I checked with the manager and he said the coupon was still good and that I had over $50 worth of non-excluded merchandise. I get to the check-out counter and the coupon doesn't work. The manager and staff here tried to help me, but after 15 minutes of waiting, I just left without buying anything. Why do they make it so difficult for people to use a simple coupon? Customers don't care about the experience of a remodeled store, if they're going to get frustrated and waste time (and gas) going there and deal with rediculous restrictions on using a $10 coupon. I tried to buy local this time, but no luck.

Based solely upon the reviews, I'll not shop here again. To remove the camping, fishing, guns & ammo from a sports store is stupid. Their prices have ALWAYS been high. I predict they'll go the way of bed, bath & beyond.
