Alexandra Martinez,Courtyard by MarriottI just wanted to say how much I appreciate all of your help. I greatly appreciate your business. Having you by my side made it all possible. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the help you gave me and my family with the baby shower. "We truly appreciate your generosity. "I'm indebted to you." I was surprised by the elegance put on display by this hotel. The room was nice, clean, and quiet. Very nice lobby. The staff was very pleasant. And, the food in the bistro is good. Parking is across the street in a garage and it is $14 was the only negative. It's located in a seemingly safe neighborhood next to many shops. But, I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this hotel again.

Location is good, other than that the walls were paper thin. Could hear the baby crying in the room next door on the left and the family talking in the room next door to the right. Could hear people walking upstairs and the AC was very loud that turned on and off each minute. Didn't sleep a wink. Sad to say but I couldn't wait to check out so I could go home and actually sleep. Front desk staff was friendly and bed /pillows were comfy enough.

No issues with this hotel, easy walking distance to many restaurants and it's clean. You can self park or valet, I valet bc it's easier, you drop your keys at the front desk. Check in is always easy, no issues. The rooms are what you expect at a courtyard, kind of outdated but clean enough. No extra amenities. I was recognized for my status with Marriott. The front desk has always been friendly and cheerful. Wifi wasn't an issue either, they do offer breakfast Ike a normal courtyard, which you pay for.

We stayed at the Marriott on a Friday & Saturday night. The room was nice. The staff was very pleasant. However, there was a venue (I believe it was a bar) right across the street (and directly across from our room). Loud music was playing until very late on Friday night. Live, loud music was playing until very late on Saturday night. On both nights, it sounded like the music was being played right in our hotel room. At a minimum, the hotel should have a disclaimer or some sort of message on its website about the noise. I realize they can't control the venue across the street; however, giving potential guests a heads up, would enable them to seek out an alternate hotel or a room on the opposite side of the hotel (although I ran into a couple in the elevator, whose room was on the opposite side of the hotel, who said that they could hear the music playing late into the evening in their room as well). As if the above was not bad enough, some idiot decided it was a good idea to rev his car engine on the street outside our room at about 2:00 a.m., and another idiot decided to start screaming on the street outside our room at about 3:30 a.m., both of which could be heard very loudly in our room. Lastly, at about 6:00 a.m., some man decided to start yelling loudly out in the street. I could see him from our window. I called down to the front desk, to let them know about the guy and what he was doing, and requested that they call the Fredericksburg police, so he could be dealt with. They said that they would. The guy continued to yell for the next two hours or more, without stopping. When we were checking out later in the morning, I saw the same guy walking through the hotel lobby. Apparently, they let him use the facilities on the main floor. This leads me to believe that the hotel staff completely ignored my request. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. It's a shame, because the hotel is in a great location downtown. I had to give it one star or I could not post the review. Should have been zero stars.

This hotel is a great place to stay if you want a night on the town without having to drive anywhere. The Italian Station coffee shop nearby is great for coffee or desserts. Billiken’s Smokehouse has great brisket and BBQ, Osan has sushi, water’s End has great beer and entertainment, Sammy T’s has vegetarian options, Benny Vitali’s for pizza, Soup and Taco has Mexican. There are too many to mention! Don’t forget Fork N’ Biscuit for an awesome breakfast! The rooms have mini fridges for your left overs and keeping drinks cold. When you are done being out for the night you can get under a blanket on the couch and settle in for a movie on the big screen or chill to some music. The hotel bar is usually open until 11:00. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern. Parking is across Caroline Street over on Wolfe for just $14 a night. It’s a short walk back.Rooms: Clean and modern. The king suite is spaciousNearby activities: Restaurants, bars, brewery, nightlife, shopping, parks, and sightseeing are all nearbySafety: Located in a nice area of old FredericksburgWalkability: No need to drive anywhere after parking in the nearby garage

Only 2 blocks as the crow flies from the Amtrak station. Great location with tons of unique shopping and eating opportunities literally right outside the door. The staff was nothing but awesome. The food available was a bit lackluster, but the service was great. Their bar had a good selection for what it is, a hotel bar. My room was perfect for me as a wheelchair user. Good space for navigating in the room. The restroom was nice and large with, for me, generally great grab bar placement. The sink is not dropped and neither is the little counter the coffee maker is on. Literally my only "complaint". As a wheelchair user, if that's all that is wrong, you've had a damn fine day lol. They were extremely respectful of my service dog and were very knowledgeable regarding the law and service dogs, which was deeply appreciated. It was nice and quiet while I was there. The pool is accessible and tidy, and I believe you could use the lift to get in and out of the hot tub as well. I kind of just scooted on my bum over the little wall because it was just not so time consuming, so I can't say.Overall a lovely experience in an awesome location for shopping and dining.

The location is great for dining out in old town Fredericksburg however you came hear everything around you while on your room, sound proofing is almost none existant. Service was great and the staff is very friendly. My room was nothing special and not worth the price. This is my first and last time staying at this location.
