bought 8 beautiful heads of green cabbage and 6# of sweet onionswould much rather shop here for produce than any local grocery store all their stuff is transported from gawd knows where, the carrots were huge and beautiful as well ;0)

I've been coming here for years, always a tad expensive, but today, the first time I've been for a while, things were just crazy expensive. One tomato $2.50. Three ears of corn $2.00. That is all I could afford although the quality this time of year seems fairly good for most items. Sadly, probably go back to cheaper grocery stores.

Today we got the most beautiful lush and heavy Christmas door wreath for about 2/3rds the cost of what the big box chains are asking for one of lesser quality. C & T on Ringgold road and 218 is not only very convenient for me, but the produce is beautifully displayed and of top quality. Not only the vegetables, but they also often have locally produced jams and condiments, which I also find very appealing. I also shop c&T on Saturday mornings at the Fredericksburg market, because they are always so conscientious and hardworking. True, their produce is a little higher than what one would pay in a grocery store, but I'm happy to know that the money is staying locally and not getting shipped up north. Besides, the quality is worth every penny.
