Lower price than Penske or U-Haul, but I booked with them twice and never got a truck, in spite of online confirmations. It threw our entire moving schedule.

After dropping off the truck on the weekend we were charged an extra $200 with no explanation. Tried to call customer service. They transferred us to someone else to take care of billing. Turned out to be reservations so they transferred us again. Because it was a drop off situation, they charged us for another day and claimed we didn't turn it in on time. DO NOT RENT A TRUCK FROM THEM. if you do do not do a drop off situation. It's clear they will try to rip you off. Stick with UHaul or some other service.

Giving one star because that is the lowest you can give. I booked a 16 foot truck. Owner told me to book it online that way she could have the truck. They waited until 1:00 to call did not leave a message or try back again. They tried to give me a van. And did not offer one of the 3 or 4 bigger trucks sitting in the yard. By far the worst customer service

100% did not deserve the ridiculously rude treatment I got when trying to rent a truck from here. I am still mind-blown at how awful my experience was, FOR NO REASON.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Do not rent a truck from here. They charged us for the truck and as soon as we bring it home the check engine light comes on. It take the technician and hour to get to the house just to tell us that we have to return the truck. The office then tells us they have no more trucks available and they can’t give us a refund because the lady doesn’t know how to give refunds! They didn’t even help us find another truck and it’s been three days and we still haven’t seen a refund. The truck they rented us also had a crack in the windshield and was all scratched up and felt unsafe to drive anyway. They have terrible service and do sketchy work. Don’t rent from here. You can get cheaper prices through Penske anyway and they treat you with more respect and better quality trucks.

We rented a Budget truck yesterday one way from Lanham, and I gave it a second chance after almost five years, since I had rented a Budget truck in Washington State, where the guy was nice, professional, but after all, I never got to see my deposit back from his business! I used Penske, had driving cross country, which beats everyone as far as Customer Service that they offer. Well, I called the Budget in Lanham, because my own car got hit by someone, who did an illegal U-turn, while waiting to be picked up to leave to inform that I'd be delayed, and still wanted to rent the truck. This guy hung up on me, after I had asked whom I was speaking with! That was so rude. Well, we were done moving late in the evening in Fredericksburg, so we went on the same day we got the truck, it was after hours, to drop off the truck. Guess what? There was no drop off box for the keys, and they are closed on Sundays! My fiance called and told Budget the situation, and he told them, not to be charged for a day, that their business is closed, we already dropped off the truck and they had no drop box available. At least if they had someone there for dropping off keys until lunch or bad a Dropbox for the keys, it would be smart. We left the truck there, and we have to turn the key in tomorrow. Needless to say, we have to do a two hour drive round trip just to drop off the keys. I won't rent from Budget again! As far as this business goes, not having the basic things to drop off keys makes it harder for Customers. I do not know anything about their customer service, so I won't say anything until tomorrow. Well, we'll see, once we drop off the keys.

Some of the worst customer service I've ever seen. Went to pick up a truck and the only person that was there was the shop owner and I had to go on a hunt to find him. The owner wouldn't check out the truck to me because he "doesn't like to deal with Budget computer system." I then had to wait about twenty minutes for his daughter to show up to check me out. Instead of giving me the attention she kept walking off to get someone to open her fruit smoothie or talking to her father. Then they gave me keys to the wrong truck. I'd give zero stars if I could.
