Came here with my family and the staff seemed incompetent. The tap to pay reader was not working and we had to wait FAR too long for the “store manager” to come to the front. We observed him talking to another employee while we were waiting. We had to ask the cashier if he knew we were waiting and he did. Turns out, they were unable (or just didn’t know how because we’ve exercised this option if the reader didn’t work) to manually input a credit card so we decided to just not purchase our items even tho we had cash. The poor customer service alone diminished our view of Big Lots. Better off at Walmart. Or really anywhere else.

Stopped in to see what they offered since I hadn't been there in a very long time when they were still located on Rt 3. Everything was overpriced in my humble opinion. I don't see myself returning.

Well equipped stores with a great selection of foreign goods. Reasonable prices. Staff friendly courteous and not in the way of shoppers. Clean restroom!.

This is one of my favorite stores to go to any more this location has great variety and amazing prices as they should being big lots. This location has a very inclusive good department, nice furniture and bed sets, and awesome electronics.

I would give zero stars if I could, management at this store is horrendous, they are rude and so unprofessional, to be completely honest I’m not sure if they are truly managers though, I say this because i have high regards that managers have more training and are more professional then what I have experience here at BIG LOTS ON COURTHOUSE RD IN SPOTSYLVANIA!!! Not only that I was in this store one day and heard a young black girl (probably wouldn’t mattered if she was purple but she was black) she kept asking a store associate about where the manager was that were suppose to give her the interview that she was there for, well the young lady got her interview 30 mins later in an aisle and it lasted about a minute or less, it was the most unprofessional thing I had ever seen in my life, so now they are not just rude and unprofessional to the customers but to potential employees as well. So very sad

I always love this store and it's sad when the workers are to lazy to give a decent interview I was in store one day and the manager was giving a young lady an interview standing in an isle no privacy and last less than a minute I felt so sorry for the young Black American lady..he was rule and very unprofessional and young he really needs to be trained I wanted to say something but she already look very uncomfortable upset...shame on you

I don't know what has changed however Big lots does not have all of the cool selections that they used to.. this store used to items and ideas that other stores did not.. they are too much like any other store now ..too many changes...I went to find gifts and walked out with nothing ?
