This was my first time PCSing with my husband. No communication until my husband calls. When our stuff arrives super late to our house stuff had scratches, damaged and missing parts to our son’s bed and broken items like the big frame maternity picture. This review is to help military family search the company before letting them take your stuff. Very disappointed. Just added a picture. If things were just wrapped properly and separated the right way this wouldn’t of happen.

If you work for this company, make sure you get paid upfront. We have done work for this company a few times and Barbara always jerks us around when it is time to pay. I am pretty sure she is not going to pay us for the last job we did. I have left her several messages and have offered to make payment arrangements and she will not even get on the phone to discuss the matter with me.

Joe, Mike, Mikey and Sherry along with their crew were wonderful. A perfect experience. We felt as if family was moving us they did it with great care. Would recommend them to all.

This is a horrible moving company. If you have the opportunity to go with someone else, I would do it. Apple Transfer, Inc is not an honest or good moving company. They damaged so much of my stuff and their response was not adequate nor do it resolve their underlying issues as honest packers/movers. They ruined 20 years of memories with all the stuff they didn't package right and the stuff that got broken. The military hired these movers, so beware if you get assigned with these movers. Request someone new. They had young adults (18-19yrs) who don't care, packing (or throwing stuff in boxes with no packing) your stuff. So much of my stuff has been ruined that made it through other moves with no issues. This was the worst move I've ever had and I have moved a lot with the military. They made my retirement move a horror.

Contacted them for a job about this time last year, they were quick with an accurate quote, came on time, did their job, and got everything where it needed to be without damage. That's actually saying something since we had a headboard that needed to go down some awkward, tight positioning to go down a flight of stairs. Everyone was polite, efficient, and customer service to make last minute changes were done without hassle and without added stress. Really made our move (about 80 miles) easy. Will likely be asking them for help with the next move!

They were contracted to deliver my stiff at first on the 9th of July, they didn't show up for that date. The move was rescheduled for the 15th of July, again they were no call no show. It's now the 19th and I've yet to be contacted. I have a 3 month old without a crib, my wife is without equipment for her business, and we are without our bed. We have been sleeping on an air mattress since they failed to first deliver and my 3 month old is in a pack and play. Where is my stuff?

We should have gotten our stuff delivered earlier this month. I have a 3 month old without his crib and I don’t have a bed. Im a baker and all of my baking equipment is in the shipment, I can’t contribute to the household financially until they get their act together. Every time we try calling to get a status all we get is a voicemail line that is never returned. Horrible practices and non-existent customer service

TLDR: They damaged my drywall, damaged my hardwoods, damaged our grand piano, and broke a 75" TV, then denied responsibility and ghosted us. Don't hire this company! The whole story: My husband hired Apple Transfer to facilitate two moves for us in the beginning of the year after Mike from Apple responded to a quote request through Yelp. Mike called him personally and they bonded over having attended the same University during the same period so while they weren't the lowest quote, he gave them the benefit of the doubt and hired them. We actually required their moving services twice. Once to move out of our house and into storage, and another time 3 months later to move out of storage and into our new home. The first move took longer than we had thought it would, but there were some challenging aspects involving my piano and they managed to get it done. We tipped the workers well. Mike came and supervised the move himself (he is a VP / part owner of the company from my understanding). The main downside of moving into the storage facility first was being unable to inspect for damages (more on this later). 3 months later, it was time to move into our new home (brand new construction). We emphasized during the coordination that it was a brand new house and that we didn't care if the move took longer but we wanted the workers to take extra care with the move. Well, Mike wasn't able to come this time. It was clear to us that the movers didn't really know how to handle my piano. Lo and behold, when we unwrapped the piano, it had some pretty significant damage to the lid (the corner is crushed). Brand new, our piano costs $70k. In addition to that, a mover fell while moving a box spring up our stairs and significantly dented and gouged our brand new drywall and corner bead. I also discovered several gouges and dents on our hardwoods. The cherry on top is that the 75" TV they moved for us broke during the move. (We found it leaning against some boxes -- panel side toward boxes. Come on!) In any event, the movers themselves were very apologetic, promised that they took notes of the damages, and that I should take photos and file a claim and it will all get taken care of. Well, after dragging us along a month, the office denied all responsibility for the damage, and are offering me $62.40 (that is sixty, no typo) for my TV. My husband called Mike directly (again, he is a VP) and he promised he'd put his head together with the owners to figure out a way to take care of us. Well, here we are another TWO months after speaking to Mike and there's been zero progress. Mike has been dodging our calls and texts, and Jane at the office started out at least seemingly concerned but has since stopped responding to our emails and calls. I would be happy to come back and revise this review if they come back and help resolve the situation. But I am not optimistic. This experience has put a significant sour note on the capstone of a year+ long building project of our dream home. If this is the final result of my business experience with them, I would never in a million years recommend you trust Apple Transfer with your prized personal belongings, or with your home.

If I could give this company a zero star rating I would. Broken furniture, missing household items, missing parts box, crushed fire pit and a stolen piggy bank. None of our beds can be reassembled because they lost all of hardware to them. I have called the company on every number I have for them. They don't answer and they don't return the calls when you leave messages. All we want are our items replaced or repaired. Extremely incompetent and unprofessional company. Please take your business elsewhere.... Read More

My experience with Apple transfer was amazing. From the first contact requesting a quote, Mike followed up with me immediately and gave me a quote half the price of another estimate. The communication was continuous for the month up to the move. Mike called the week before to check on closing, and then Dave called the day before to go over details. The crew showed up early on moving day and worked tirelessly for 11 hours! They even worked around our 4 dogs! They were courteous, efficient and careful and constantly asked for our input if they had any questions. We moved 75 miles away on a very cold day in January and they never complained! Mike not only communicated with his crew during the day, but checked in with me 4 times during the process! We have never used professional movers before and were a little skeptical, but Mike and the crew made it such a great experience. The follow up with the business office was again impeccable! We even paid less than the original quote because the crew worked so hard! Will use them if we ever move again and have been recommending to all our friends with up coming moves!

I have done two moves with Apple Transfer. Today was my third move with Apple Transfer. As usual, they were prompt and the move went extremely well. Jeff and Wes provided their normal outstanding service. Apple Transfer is the best!

I wouldn't recommend thIs company at all. Turn to the next offer, even if you think it is a good deal. They aren't efficient at all, and pick and choose times that they think are appropriate rather than listening to their customers' needs. I asked the company to show up at 11am promptly for a 1pm move in time that was scheduled with my complex, and they sent me a contract and a quote based on the time requested. A few days later, they call me, complaining about access to the building, and told me they would arrive from 9-10am. I have used moving services in the past and knew my items wouldn't take more than 2 hours to move, so I persisted that my move in time would not be until 1pm, and the coordinator retorted, "the movers can use a lunch break." Lo and behold, they apparently want my fiancé and I to pay for their employees' lunch break. On top of that, they began calling me at 7:30am, and appeared before 9am to begin moving a one bedroom apartment...needless to say, they were finished well before 1pm (my scheduled move in time), and now want to charge us for a few extra hours of downtime! I have NEVER had such a terrible moving company in my life. While the movers were nice, management of this place is not up to par with the standards of customer service expected of them. I will never be calling them again, and plan to file a complaint for manipulating our bill to fluff up their final payment. It is NOT our fault that they did not plan out moving appointments efficiently, and now we are supposedly stuck with a $650+ bill they refuse to change, even though they chose to ignore their customers wishes, and decided to take a risk that my scheduled move in time would not be REQUIRED and they could move in earlier than 1pm, which I repeatedly informed them of being scheduled with my apartment concierge. Barbaric treatment and the epitome of sexist for failing to listen to a woman.

Absolute garbage the people there horrible other than a few. I used to work there and they skim your paychecks... and have multiple lawsuits to show for it. They will end up loosing or stealing half of your things that they didn't damage and will give you an oh well at the end of the day.

Professional, friendly, succinct, amenable, speedy, patient, and just plain miracle workers. What more would you want or need in movers?
