worst bank ever. theyre app sucks they have lockEd me out of my app multiple times and then when I go to reset password the generate code email never sends. they do this on purpose so your late to pay and so they can charge you. terrible bank

Absolutely awful experience from Day 1.There is no possible way to make any online or over the phone payments and I am completely locked out of my online account with no help. If you use this bank, you like me, will be stuck driving to the bank every month for the next 5 years in order to pay in person (like it is 1952,) because of the complete ineptitude of this sad excuse for a bank. If any of this atrocious process was explained at the point of my car purchase I would have easily gone with the other loan I was pre-authorized for.In addition to this primary complaint they are fond of the method of customer service in which they keep you on a loop of robotic voices and never help you or put you in contact with a human being, that is, until you tell them you want a new loan, in which they immediately get you to a human representative because they are apparently apathetic as well as incompetent.Stay away.

Probably the nicest banking experience you'll ever have. Such polite tellers, staff, management, etc. My family has been doing business with BFCU for decades now. They have always gone above and beyond for their accounts. I HIGHLY recommend people to bank with a Credit Union, and NOT a traditional bank. Have you noticed that it seems like every bank out there gets bought out time and time again? It's because they suck. However, credit unions? Places like Bronco and Navy Federal? They've garnered constant success. It's because they look out for their MEMBERS. Not some board filled with aged, lost men.

I came here to seek information on the Credit Union's relationship with business owners. When I arrived, Mrs Diana S promptly answered all of my questions. I like that if I open up an account it would be her that I would be speaking with and not a myriad of different people. She even went as far to call the CEO of the Credit Union at my request. This was superb service. I did not open up the business account today, as I am still "dating" different institutions, but she is definitely number one in the running for my company bank account. Great service indeed.

Absolutely the worst financial institution experience our family has ever had! The most difficult people to get any information from about your own accounts. With Stone Age policies about having to mail in forms in order to do absolutely anything - even something as simple as an address change, it was near impossible to get anything done. A serious lack of communication between departments and general unaware and rude staff. We have had several financial institutions and never have we ever had the amount of trouble to do even the simplest of tasks with any of them the way this place has. The best day was the day we closed our accounts with them and even on that day Bronco was unaware that they were the ones with an auto withdrawal from our main institution set up to pay a loan with them and warned us to make sure to cancel the auto payment on our main institutions side. It was literally set up on their side! Due to our level of frustration, a lack of management and general concern that they somehow still had a way of pulling from our main account, we ended up putting a block on my main institutions side. That is the level of frustration you can expect from this financial institution.

I'm so sick of this bank I been with them for years.Every time I take a check to deposit in my account they want to put it on a 5 day hold..But go to Suffolk branch no problems at all. Count your freaking days Bronco

So here's one for you.....some may remember a few weeks back I was asking about when I should get sent a new cc since mine was to expire end of this month. Every week I called starting in April, four calls in 3 weeks actually.. I had the same woman at BFCU repeatedly tell me it had been mailed and not to worry. Sooo, yesterday I called BFCU again, spoke to a different woman. I explained the situation and told her I pay alot of my bills automatically with card that was going to expire in a few days. She placed me on hold, came back afew moments later and said they had my card there at the Credit union. Because of my address change earlier It had not been forwarded. NOW I can understand that for security reasons but why the hell couldn't they have called me¿??¿?????

My card occasionally just doesn't work for a brief period of time if I make a small purchase with it early in the day. It's supposedly something to do with ensuring it hasn't been stolen, but it's really just annoying and pretty stupid since I can still use it to just withdraw the needed cash at an atm. Also, their online banking service constantly forces me to reset my password making it easier for me to just use PayPal or Wallet for anything beyond simple every day purchases. All in all, I wouldn't recommend BFCU if you can find another establishment that won't be as annoying.
