Not enough free weights or machines for back workouts, and definitely not enough cleaning wipes stations to clean the machines off after workouts are over.

Whoever says this place has a lot of equipment is an absurd liar. There isn't nearly enough strength/resistance equipment. Most of the time there will be a line for a certain machine because they only have 1 or 2. There's plenty of ellipticals and treadmills, also the open floor is extremely nice to train on. I do like the set up, however the lack of strength based equipment earns SPC 3 stars.

Ima give it to y’all straight. This gym sucks. All the equipment is old, the dumbbells are so bad and you can’t find a matching one. Only good thing is the little turf field they got. No cables at all, no dedicated bench besides 1 or you’ll have to use a squat rack. No back machines, no chest machines, barely have stuff for legs, and if you’re gonna do arms you’ll have to do a workout from the 80’s with their old equipment. Even the smoothie bar is bad, smells like rotten milk. It’s hot outside where the AC at? No one cleans anything so be mindful of that too.

Lots of equipment available to use with many options to choose from. The regulars have their favorites, but overall, a nice gym to work out.

Old equipment. Cable machine is always broken. Way to many elliptical machines for no reason. The rack systems are great though. That’s why we go.

Has most of the free weight equipment that I'm looking for, although the dumbbells are definitely lacking in matched pairs. Only has one antiquated cable machine. But for the most part, if you're looking for free weights, this is the best location on post. Tends to get very busy around 1500 and on.

I really enjoy this place. Great machines, and you get a great workout in. Every time I've come, it hasn't been crowded.

This is a great gym on fort Lee. They have lots of cardio equipment, weight machines, weight racks, and functional fitness space. It sometimes seemed to run short on weight clips at the racks, but usually is because the cross fit people take them into their little corner. The locker rooms are adequate for changing and the dry sauna in the locker room is very nice.

Best gym I've seen in my 11 years in the army.

Great facility that's clean and well equipped. There is a major lack of bar clamps though. Weight plate storage could be better organized.

The gym is spacious, easy to get to. It has a drag mat or a turf area. Ample supply of equipment. The only qualm is if at all possible put a few bench bars next to the drag mat. Why? Because I enjoy bicep pressing with a bench bar. Always have, always will. Plus others might enjoy it as well. The one good thing I do like about this the most, is the gym etiquette. No one is being a dirtbag. It's an emotionally healthy environment. I have not been to the bathroom areas. It also has a track. All in all, a positive environment for self rehabilitation and strength building is an absolute must, and you preform above standard.

Most preferred gym on post. Variety of free weights, cardio equipment and functional training equipment as well. Has a large turf area inside for functional training. Has weight asked sleds, power balls, and flip tires. Highly recommend.

Great work area nice and spread out. I wish it had better free weights and it had air conditioning.
