“We stopped here while traveling and had a very nice experience. Check in was nice, our room was clean and comfortable, and there were no bad odors anywhere. The breakfast was also nice. I held back a star because even thought the gym was small (no biggie at all), it was way too hot in there even with the thermostat on 61. I am a daily walker and I wanted to use the treadmill to walk my 3 miles, but it didn’t happen. Not the end of the world, however.”

“My wife and I left our destinations late and could not get as far as we wanted, so we ended up at the best western. We used our points and got the last room. It was 2300 hours and was sure they would be full so we called Best western from their parking lot and booked our room. We walked form the car to the check in and got the last room. It was handicap room but other wise was great.”

“I stayed for about 3 months. The staff was absolutely wonderful. They were kind, efficient and just a hoot to have a conversation with. Although I had to move out (my choice), I was sad to go. If ever I am in need of a place again, I will definitely be going back there.”
“Very close to the army base- about 7 minutes which was very convenient. Rooms were really nice and modern. Very clean rooms. Staff were friendly. Beds were comfortable.
Con: pool closed due to lack of maintenance!which was disappointing for the child that was in the trio with us.

“no issues in room, hallways were clean but stuffy and had a sour smell upon arrival. Smelled better over the weekend. The staff was able to accommodate our request for a 1st floor room upon arrival when the elevator was not working so that was a plus. Overall, enjoyable stay.”

“Hilton Southpark, Colonial Heights VA. Very clean, and comfortable beds after several hour's on the road. Gentleman at the front desk was nice and professional. Enjoyed the complimentary waters. Received a nice text message after check in to inquire about status of our room. Shows a little wesr and tear. Wouldn't lower star rating due to this, as cleanliness and staff's (Anthony) professialism matter to us when traveling.

They cleared some of the breakfast items of before the end of breakfast and I could not find a regular or a chocolate milk for my child. Only a skim milk which she did not like with her cereal. Def not updated, needs new comforters and my opinion carpet needs to go, bathroom sink was new but tub is not shower worthy but there's no bugs, daytime staff was friendly nighttime guy not so much, room was clean just very outdated but I'd go here over the others in the area any day of the week. Price is great for what you get. Has ice machine but no coffee which is fine since places are nearby. Would stay again when in town for sure.”

“This is a small Hampton Inn in a great location just off Interstate 95 but quiet. The best part was the staff. Everyone was uniformly friendly and professional from the cleaning staff to the front desk to the lady in charge of the breakfast. The only negative was the room carpet was damp in spots and needed another day or two with a dehumidifier. The price was reasonable. We will be back when we are in town again to get our RV repaired.”

“Really did not enjoy being harassed by the manager when I smoked a cigarette outside of the hotel. He accused me of putting out cigarettes on the building just because I was outside smoking. I felt harassed enough to come to Google to leave a review. Not to mention that I’m here for a long stay. 2 weeks. And I know they have a thing about putting people out. Now I’m afraid I may get put out with no refund and I didn’t even do anything. I will sue Motel 6 if that happens and if I need more time in a hotel I will not be renewing my stay here. It’s sad because ALL of the other employees have been great. But yall shouldn’t have someone there that makes the guests feel uncomfortable. I’ve spent more than $1000 on my stay. That’s a lot to be harassed for.”

“The customer service here was excellent. They were very nice to us and respectful. We ended up coming in late but helped us out right away. They also had a breakfast that we were able to make and bring with us when we were leaving to take with us on our way to leave which was very nice. The rooms were alright. It was good for the price we paid. It also is pet friendly for an additonal fee.Rooms: The rooms were good for the value and they also allow pets for an additional fee which was good for us because we had our dog with us.”

“Stayed at this hotel with daughter after she got a weekend pass before reporting for AIT, it’s located on the army base the outside of the building looks old but it’s nice and very clean inside it’s very spacious it has microwave, refrigerator, sofa bed and stovetop. The staff customer service is AMAZING you can also use all the amenities at the Holiday Inn Express (located on the army base also) that the Mackintosh don’t have,they also have free breakfast it’s not a big selection but it’s a good food selection I can’t say anything bad about this hotel I will definitely stayed at this hotel again !!!!!!”
