Scheduled an appointment to get my passport. I got in line 2 or 3 minutes late. Made it to the front right at their 5 minute grace period and was not seen. USPS needs to hire more people. The poor people at the front are overworked.

The brown haired lady was super rude when trying to get my passport. I left and went to Lynchburg city building with no issues. Do NOT recommend.

Always slow. Cant find addresses. Difficult to work with. Just use fedex/ups and save yourself the hassle of dealing with them.

Very unhelpful and unknowledgeable staff. Do not go here if you need any help beyond scanning a prepaid label. The two ladies were contradictory to the instructions on the USPS website and very rude. We went with plenty of time before closing but we could tell that they did not know how to help and did not want to figure it out because they were leaving in 30 min. They literally closed the counter in our faces with no apologies. Would not recommend.

Always really good at getting my packages to me on time or ahead of schedule. I order a lot of stuff online. These guys are great and are nice when I have to come into the post office occasionally.

Tried to pick up a package that was already late but they wouldn’t let me take it. I tried to explain that I needed it before I left for my trip but she still wouldn’t do it.

Poor customer service. Couldn’t get a question in when trying to locate my lost package. Woman spoke over me and was rude, had a tone and didn’t help.

I have never had any issues with the front desk staff...very friendly and helpful so I am sorry that I am giving 1 star for them...and we LOVE our lady that brings our mail (Savannah!)...
BUT the passport service here is absolutely awful! I would HIGHLY recommend finding another location to obtain your passport, like the Bedford Library!

The only post office I know of that has enough staffing to take care of customers quickly and efficiently. The employees are always friendly and helpful. I've had nothing but good experiences. here.

No wonder this location is reviewed so poorly. The postmaster literally called me stupid today. Unprofessional to say the least. What an example to set by the boss. The lady is pushing 40 years old working at USPS and has the audacity to call someone else stupid. I thought I was in a Bollywood film or something. Comical lol

Lost my package. Tracking showed it never left this post office. Items seem to just disappear at this place.

we moved to Lynchburg in August and left a forwarding address. We had a package ( envelope) that was delivered to our old house in November and was never re directed. We put a tracer on it and followed it. On Dec 1 it was floating around; Greensboro, Roanoke, Forest, Greensboro, Roanoke and finally on Dec.11 it was at Forest out for delivery. It is 7:30 AM and the Post office does not open until 8:30. I want to pick it up at Forest to stop this vicious cycle of delivering to the old address then being sent around the country again. You have our forwarding address, Use it.

My experience today was very pleasant compared to the previous visit several weeks ago.. although the environment could be a little bit livelier the (2,) employees working today were very pleasant and efficient... nice job
