We had a wonderful time with the Lynchburg Area Shag Club for the 2023 Christmas dance. The Band of Oz played their great shag songs, and other music bt Chairman of the Board and Bill Deal and the Rondels.

This place is made for dancing and large gatherings! With a pristine dance floor and large stage, there are not many of these community venues left and, for sure, there are none being built these days, so if you get a chance then drive the 2.5 hours like we did and give it a go!

Ruritan is a national organization dedicated to improving communities and building a better America through fellowship, goodwill and community service. New London Ruritan Club has served the community since 1947. We raise funds for scholarships and community organizations through sponsoring community dances and renting the clubhouse.
