Edit: I've been back many times since this first time when I reviewed. They are always so great with my pup and even call to follow up and check on Jaxie day after appointments. I love this place and the staff there!!
Today was my first experience at Lake Forest Animal Hospital. I brought my Chi-Pin in for a nail clipping since he hates getting his nails cut and won't let me do it. I'm not sure what they have going on there, but they worked some MAGIC because he let them do it without freaking out or trying to bite (even though he was muzzled, he still usually tries) so I am THRILLED!! Thank you Lake Forest!

Lake Forest Animal Hospital has been a wonderful experience for overseeing my cat's health. They have great office staff and doctors. They have a very holistic approach, taking into consideration the needs of the pets and owners. I walk away from each visit feeling heard.

Dr. Holly is very genuine and caring. She took the time to explain all my questions asked about my furbaby. My appt. was 5:15 p.m. and I didn't leave Lake Forest Animal Hospital until 6:45 p.m they close at 6:00 p.m. Dr. Holly, her assistant or the receptionist didn't rush me, they were all very helpful, kind and courteous!

Dr. Holley provided us factual and thorough information during her care of our beloved Gracie. Her consciousness was evident at each stage of our little dog's prescribed treatment and we are so grateful for her willingness to spend time with us and answer our questions. Doctor seemed knowledgeable and pricing, although I've never comparison shopped, seemed fair. Follow up was great. My only complaint was getting wakened by a text reminder at 7:06 AM. I'm 71 years old and like to stay up late and sleep in.

Dr. Holley was exceptionally kind to make time to care for our kittens on very short notice. The staff was incredible, big thanks to Cathy for her kindness. We look forward to many more well visits.

I appreciate getting palliative care for my very elderly dog. She can’t be “fixed,” she can only be comfortable. We were shown compassion and assistance to make her end of life as wonderful as her first 15 years.

I followed Dr. Miller to this practice. Since his retirement, I have been so pleased with the other vets we have seen! Everyone is super kind, helpful, and caring. They are honest with you and don’t try to just take your money. Me and my kitties love this place!
