I would recommend the male employees be retrained on washing their hands after using the bathroom. Nothing like washing your own hands to have two people touch the door with their dirty bathroom hands.

The lady with blond hair at check out helped me many times when checking out our and I had to ask in-between items how much my total was. I was broke and she never treated me like it was a problem. She looked at me as tho she understood rather than judged me. Many thanks to her for being kind on so many trips to find a deal on dinner.

Visit this food lion very often as it is 3 min away from home. Normally the experience is decent and people are friendly. Today was a different story. I picked one of three open lines. Wasn’t greeted when I set my hand basket on the conveyor the employee Tonya looked at me like I had lost my mind. She still didn’t say anything. I asked her if she preferred me to take the stuff out of leave it in the basket to be easier for her. She said “ no you better take that out of the basket”. As I was doing so she proceeded to tell me to back up so that I didn’t “smash her fingers” she said nothing else to me until she handed me my receipt. Not a great experience. A simple “hello” would have gone a long way…..

I just had a rude cashier tell me to take stuff out of the carrier. Um that is not my job to do, it's the cashiers job. And yes I will continue to shake my head at you. I wish I could have saw her name tag

One of the things I enjoy about Food Lion is that the store is always organized well and clean. There are a few things that I can find at Food Lion that I do not find at other local stores. One of the downsides of Food Lion is I do find it a little bit more expensive than the other local grocery stores.
