Doctor Leah Hinkle routinely answers emails late into the night, on weekends and holidays. She has written thoughtful letters that have influenced the care that I get from the Veterans Administration as a 100% Service Connected Disabled American Veteran.She provides a level of care that I consider myself blessed to receive.

The staff are great, but it is nearly impossible to get through for appointments when you call in. I spent an hour on the hold section from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. one day and then another 30 minutes the next just trying to reschedule. They need to hire more people if they have this high of traffic for appointment scheduling.

Medications are never called in on time. Wait times on phone are almost always around 30 minutes. Yet when at an appointment, reception is just sitting around. Do not go here for PC. You’re their last priority.

I absolutely love my primary, Dr E. Goff. While she was out on maternity leave I was scheduled with Dr Whitlow and I LOVED her! I have also seen Dr L Hinkle who I’ve seen for a sick visit. Each and every physician and staff member at CVFP Forest has been outstanding! I would strongly recommend any of their physicians if you or anyone you know is looking.

I used to go here. I didn’t want to see the same doctor that I used to, for personal reasons. Tried to make an appointment as a new patient for another doctor. I haven’t had another primary doctor in the last 5 years. The woman I spoke to was very rude and said it is a requirement before I can even make an appointment that they have any and all records of any doctor I have seen in the past 5 years. I do not know why this is a requirement and I think that is absolutely ridiculous. So I will not be seeing a doctor, especially here. My past experiences here were also not pleasant. Do not recommend. Seems like they hate their job and take it out on everyone. Very sad.

Everyone at CVFP Forest is welcoming, relaxed and professional. Dr. Goff is the best physician I have ever had. I feel very respected and valued as a patient there. Highly recommend.

Everyone here was very friendly. Dr. Whitlow did an excellent job listening to me and asking thorough questions about my concerns. She made sure to clearly explain any next steps and treatment going forward. I felt well cared for and would definitely recommend her to others.

So happy and blessed to have found this doctor. After moving from NH, I was caught in the waiting game for my records. The office staff facilitated getting notes from my other doctor and got me in so that I could continue being prescribed my medicine. I highly recommend Dr. Goff. She is knowledgeable and listens and I feel very comfortable in her hands.

Trying to get someone to answer their phone is a challenge but overall, A place where physicians actually listen & "hear" you. I feel safe and cared about. I'm able to give my feed back.I would say most patients need to change to CVFP, because they care!Thank you from a patient.

While the appointment was easily scheduled, the staff was friendly and professional, the building was clean and orderly, my experience with medical care was none of those things. I injured my shoulder and waited over a month to go to the doctor about it because I kept telling myself "it'll feel better tomorrow.". I explained this to the doctor and she took an X Ray, (which apparently showed all was normal although I didn't see it myself) gave me a list of exercises to do, (all of which I was already doing which I told her because I have been through physical therapy before for a different injury so I was familiar with what to do [another reason I waited to go to the doctor for so long]) and told me to come back in a month. I understand that there is a certain limit that a doctor can accomplish but I was in and out within 20 minutes and without any answers as to why my shoulder was and still is hurting so badly. I felt as if my pain was dismissed and I felt as though I were being treated like nothing more than revenue. I wouldn't go back to this office if I were bleeding from the neck.

If you like to be treated like a number and ushered out of the office as fast as possible and this is the place for you. Doctor did not take the time to listen to my concerns. After 1.5 years couldn't help with my issue. Got dropped because of an insurance change and went to a new doctor and they figured out almost instantly. This doctor office is the perfect reason why corporate medical care is garbage. They dont care about you just your payment

My primary health provider is Central Virginia Family Physicians. My personal provider is Dr. Leah Hinkle and associates. I have been seeing her for at least 23 years. I believe I have had her since she first came to this office. She has never steered me wrong. I love her like a friend and can talk to her about anything personal that's bothering me as well as my medical needs. I highly recommend Dr. Hinkle and associates, as well as Central Virginia Family Physicians, for your health concerns. Thank you, Mildred Gilliland

I have been going to Forest Family Physicians for 20+ years. I now live out rurally in another area but would have made the long drive just because I felt so comfortable with my doctor. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. My doctor USED to listen to my concerns, would answer my questions, and took time with me. I don't know what changed but this is no longer the case. He is abrupt, makes me feel as though I'm wasting my time, etc. Also, it takes FOREVER to get a human being on the phone to answer calls.As I get older, my health is (obviously) important to me. I can't continue to be a patient here when I don't feel as though my doctor cares. The only praise I can give as I write this review is for the staff in the office who always seem to be helpful and kind. I spoke today with Britney and she was very nice.
