“Please do yourself a favor and book your stay or event at the Inn at Meadowcroft!I had my wedding here and booked the entire Inn for 2 nights. Bill and his staff are amazing! They are the friendliest and most accommodating people. We had every room booked, and they made our guests feel like they were at home.Bill, the owner, told us when we were looking at the venue that they try to make the Inn feel like you're coming to grandma's house, which is exactly what it feels like. Staying there feels like a warm hug.We had one guest who arrived in the middle of the night, and Bill called them up a few days before to let them know how to get into the Inn and their room. They're just on top of things and very accommodating.The Inn itself seems super rustic, but the interior is decorated and renovated VERY nicely. The views are fantastic and the kids got to see baby goats at the farm nearby. The kids also fell in love the the barn cat named Oreo and the dog Tilly. It was just a perfect place to gather all of our family!My wife and I look forward to coming back here for our anniversaries!”

“We just had the best wedding day EVER at The American Hotel!!!! Everything was fantastic - from the lighting for photos, to beautiful historic vibes, and all the included amenities you could want. We got endless compliments from guests about how much they loved the venue and surrounding Staunton area. The venue manager Jewel was beyond amazing - answering every question of ours with no complaints and offering support in every way possible. She was so helpful throughout the entire process and especially with her assistance setting up on the day of. We could not have imagined a more perfect day!!!”
“Clean, cool, well finished rooms. Nice gym and pool. The environment in the pool room was surprisingly fresh for an indoor pool. The location is a short walk from all the downtown attractions. Staff is friendly and our family of 5 would happily stay again.”
“First the downside;No microwave in the room.Ice is only on the first floor with buckets that I am not certain are cleaned or not by the dispenser.Upside;Fairly new hotel with unexpected amenities. There is a pool, gym and business center. A nice reception area with a surprising breakfast available with fresh coffee and all juices. The rooms are comfortable in size. The rooms have soap and toiletries by the sink and in the shower. The beds are comfortable and well made. Everything is reasonably clean. I am immaculate so I notice intricacies like dust on the molding and soap dispensers. However I would say that it is clean without concern. The only other housekeeping issue that I noticed was on the elevator door and floor. I did notice there were contractors staying there so maybe they just were dirty. All of these observations are for you to make an informed decision.”

“This was a fun family style winery. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The wines are locally produced on site. They have games on Friday evening, playing Trivial Pursuit. This is a team event and loads of fun. Pack some sandwiches and come for a fun time. They do have for purchase cheese and crackers.”
