They were great until they weren't, then it was REALLY BAD. The pharmacy totally dropped the ball in filling a critical Rx for management of advanced cancer. Not only did they never even apologize a Pharmacist named Beth deliberately made it a point to come to the front to check me out. She shamed & embarrassed me in front of a line of people when I requested that we mark our file to ALWAYS fill the RX (the same way it had been filled in the past for the same medication) when the cancer center sent in the request directly to the specific pharmacy in Fishersville. Beth said that us being frantic about the medicine not being available in time to stop hard core withdrawal symptoms had upset others. I told her WE were the ones upset by the avoidable & dangerous event and that I didn't have time to care if others had been ruffled. Beth then threatened to never fill the medicine again & see how that would work for us. Now I am all about admitting to our panic at not being able to get a critical medication. I have work constraints & my partner was not in a position to drive due to the withdrawals not to mention cancer & that he lives over an hour away, but to compound that with a thankless & entitled attitude that was directed at me IN FRONT of other patients (not privately) was degrading. She said it was our job to follow up with them to make sure that it was being filled. THIS IS NOT OUR JOB?! Why would it even occur to us to check since it had been filled successfully numerous times before. The only reason we reached out was to confirm that it was going to be available since we had had no automated notification that it had been filled (as in the past). We had already reached out to Emily Couric Cancer Center to confirm that they had sent it. Which they had. A week before! I have reached out to UVA patient experiences directly to report this & to the cancer care team. So far no word back. All I am saying is that if you use this pharmacy be ready to take arrows if they drop the ball because it isn't going to be their fault & if you're upset about it they will make you even more so.

Very nice and although my prescription was not ready when I got there, they filled it immediately and I was on my way. They also made sure all discounts available to me were considered.
