Just wanted to take a moment and brag on Terrika who works in the office! We conduct business with Walk2Campus on a regular basis. Terrika has always been who we deal with and she is the sweetest. Not sure what all her title includes but she is always busy helping; even though I’m sure at times she has plenty on her plate, she’s always consistent, polished and does it all with a smile on her face! We need more people like you in the world!

Walk2Campus, and specifically CampusWalk, is a great company to work with for housing for Longwood University! My roommates and I live in an apartment at CampusWalk, and it’s a beautiful space- very updated appliances, nice enough furniture, and plenty of space. Maintenance is very quick with requests, and they’re very nice folks. We do have issues on occasion with the A/C, but maintenance handles it quickly. The folks at the Walk2Campus are AWESOME- Kacy and Terrika NEVER fail to help out with issues and provide a really nice breakfast spread about once a month. They’re also very sweet, as are the other office workers I haven’t talked with as much. Free McDonald’s and Chick-fil-a is always nice. The pricing is really competitive, is far cheaper than school housing, and is less than what most of our friends pay for furnished apartments. Bills aren’t terribly crazy, although the lease agreement changes for next year are a bit ridiculous. Not the fault of anyone who works at Walk2Campus, of course. The apartments are a 5 minute walk to campus, which is perfect and aids in the never-ending quest for parking, and are about an 8 minute walk to the hot spots in town- Press Club, Bandido’s. The Valero right next to CampusWalk has saved us a few times. The building is almost entirely college students, so it can get a LITTLE loud on weekends, but that doesn’t bother any of us or any of the college students in the building. As far as complaints go, most apartments require at least a full flight of stairs- in our case, more than one, but there’s really nothing that can be done about that. There is an accessible elevator, but it only goes to the second floor and requires approval ahead of time for as-need usage, though I’m sure residents with disabilities don’t require as-need approval. All in all, great value, great folks, and a great place to live.

Within my first few weeks of living here I’ve probably seen more cockroaches than I have in my life prior to living here. The houses are not move-in condition. They don’t clean up whatever belongings or mess was left behind from previous residents. They hit you with fine after fine to live in a dirty house they probably pay no mind to. My shower drain and sink was clogged before I even moved in and I had to pester them to finally fix it. My unit also has no wi-fi box. Very over priced for what it’s worth.

My daughter lives in a Walker2Campus Apartment and even though it is older it is quite lovely. It's in a nice neighborhood, very close to her job. She has had a couple issues but the leasing office and the maintenance staff has been right on it. They have listen to her concerns and went out of their way to make to make it right. Biggest problem she has is noisy neigbors.

I’ve never seen shiftier business practices than at this leasing agency. They’ll bend over backwards with lies to get you to sign a lease. Once you’ve signed your soul away you’ll be hit with fine after fine. The company monopolizes the off-campus housing market at Longwood University and doesn’t give any reasonably priced options, however if you want to live anywhere near campus this organization has made sure that they’re your only option. $1,400 a month is a normal price to rent a house in today’s market. Walk2campus will split their houses into upwards of 5 suites, stuff multiple roommates in each “suite,” then proceed to charge each person in each suite full price for a fraction of the house. I wish this leasing company would pack their bags and leave town so that the students at Longwood University can afford housing again.

Paying $1,100 a month for a one room apartment? No worries, because Marie Helen will swear that they’re sending an exterminator for those rats and roaches. So why does every house that they lease still have an infestation then???

I can't say enough about how great the staff at Walk2Campus Farmville is. From move in day where we were given a manager's cell phone for issues, to asking for assistance in delivering food to my student who was ill and couldn't go out to accept a food delivery, they are a top notch team! The apartment was very nice and if there were any issues, they were prompt to address and correct. Thank you Walk2Campus for taking care of our students when we can't be there!

Honestly the worst place on the face of the planet , do not get leases through this place they will charge you for a spec of dust on the floor. Honestly, the first and worst experience renting. This is one of the worst real estate agencies, they do not care about their clients they just care about money. Literally will promise you one thing and never follow through, a bunch of false promises. Good luck.

Really hate your parking trap at 3 Roads. Tiny little sign that say "permit parking only" on the left side of the entrance, when everything is on the left. So how much does the campus get per vehicle towed? Because if it really was about a parking problem, or safety of students wouldn't the sign be larger and actually in a place that is more effective than where no one would think to look!

They charge you thousands to live in houses that should have been renovated 20 years ago

The absolute worst people to work with. Not to mention they rob you of your money.

I lived with Walk2Campus properties from 2018-2020 and my college experience wouldn't have been the same without them. The staff went out of their way countless times to help me with things from roommate issues to squeaky dryers. I've gained friendships and life skills here that have made it an easier transition from college student to living in the real world. I'm so grateful I got to call my apartment home.
