Bruh. Told me a part was bad so I bought it they replaced then said oh a different part was bad that it wasn't the 1st 1. Bought it they replaced. Got my car back and found out not only did I replace a part I didn't need to but the broke my rear view camera in the process and could not fix it so I went to another shop to fix it which cost me another 200. So instead of spend 350 to replace the part I really did need. I spent over 900 and lost my core charge on the part since their mechanic destroyed it while taking it out. they gave me an apology for their horrible front desk guy who scammed multiple customers (they literally showed me a folder of customers he scammed) and 150 as an apology and even that was like pulling teeth. Worst shop in town from what I've seen.

LT;DR - B&G had my truck for 4 months. Nothing got repaired. Underquoted by $4,000. Lied to about parts.
Full version:
I took my truck to B&G in March to fix an engine leak. They cleaned the engine, put dye in and found it was leaking from 2 locations.
The quote to fix the leak was $1,000, which I thought was an excellent price so I said, "Go ahead and fix it". They told me it would be 3 weeks before they could start. "No problem" I said.
3 weeks pass... "Will start next week."
4 weeks pass... "Our mechanic is out sick."
5 weeks pass... "There is a national backorder on the parts, we're not sure when they'll be back in stock. "
7 weeks pass... "Still out of stock".
Week 8, I show up in person and ask for an update. They check the website and wouldn't you know, the parts are back in stock, so they order it there in front of me. Parts should be in next Friday he says.
Week 9... "Parts are in, just need to make room in the shop, should start work next week."
Week 10... "Truck is in the shop, but it's a holiday. Will start next week."
Week 11... Owner calls me up. "Hey, we underquoted you. The job will cost $5,000." "Ok, how did we go from $1,000 to $5,000?"
"Well, the guy who quoted the job didn't calculate the labor properly. He's on vacation so I'm looking at the job and there's no way we can do it for $1,000." "Ok, let me think about what to do next."
Week 12... "Hey, I'm not going to get the work done. Cost more than the truck is worth. I'm going to pick it up Monday." Now thankfully they didn't charge me anything for the engine clean, dye and oil change.
Week 13... Picking up the truck. I asked, "Where are the parts you guys ordered for my truck?" The response was, "Well, we never actually ordered the parts." Then I asked, "How were you going to fix my truck without the parts?" The response was, "I don't know."
So there you have it. 4 months wasted. No intention to fix my truck. Lied to me numerous times.
Nothing bad to say about the mechanics that work there, they seem like really good people, but I do not know how a place can stay in business with management practices like this.

They had my truck for 5 weeks to get a new turbo and state inspection. A $1500 electronic module "just happens" to go out while it is in their shop (that I have to pay for). Had to take it back in twice to get other things fixed that were working when they got it. They will never get another penny from me

Highly recommend! Honest mechanics, friendly staff, and they are patient in explaining issues so anyone can understand. They are a bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for, and these guys are top notch!
