The Fancy Gap VA Post Office has to be the one of the worst set of operations hours I have ever experienced. They are only actually open for 5.5 hours 5 days a week. As a person that runs a local business… I can tell you it is frustrating at best. One elderly lady seems to be the only employee. USPS… you can do better!

There are very nice postal workers at this location. I bring my packages from Charlotte for that reason. I wish the hours were longer.

It would be helpful if this post office had hours of operation so that people who work could pick up their mail. Packages aren't all available till 10AM, closes before 3PM weekdays and 10:45AM on Saturdays. Would be better to rent a PO box in nearby Hillsville where at least they have reasonable business hours. The postal workers there are extremely friendly and accommodating as well.

Patrick is very accommodating and willing to help out any way he can. We are moving into the area and have had some difficulties with mailings from companies and he is patient and explains and clarifies. Good employee!
