We stayed here for a few days and loved it! The staff was amazing and the grounds were maintained perfectly. A great location close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and many other things to keep you busy. Thanks for the great stay and making us feel welcome.

The sites were well-maintained, offering a perfect blend of sun and shade. The facilities were clean and modern, with every convenience thought of. What stood out was the tranquility of the surroundings and the symphony of nature sounds at night. Other campers were respectful and friendly.

Beautiful pristine KOA! We now know why they won the presidents KOA Award of excellence! So very much appreciate the high standards of the owners! The only thing I would like to let them know that the site we stayed on had a tree stump with Turkey Tail Mushies, and growing right next to it was POISION IVY!! Not good if children or unknowing adults... are staying at that site as it is right as you walk into the spot. Other than that...LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS KOA!! Thank you kindly for doing what ya'll do!

This was a one night stop for us - but one of the NICEST stops on our trip! Very east access, very clean bathrooms- in fact the whole campground was neat and tidy.

Beautiful, well-kept grounds and amazing, friendly staff. SO much more than other KOA Journeys we have stayed at. Can’t wait to go back!

This was our first koa experience and boy it did not disappoint. From the friendly staff to the pristine clean facilities, this place has it all! When we checked in, the camp host escorted us to our spot and helped my husband back in (thank you!!). The site had full hook ups, a fire pit, and a picnic table. No shortage of things to do here. Fishing, ping pong, swimming (in season), gem mining, dog park, badminton, tether ball, and a playground. They decorate the entire property for fall. It was beautiful! The restrooms and showers were spotless. Do yourself a favor and go to this KOA. We will be back!

Beautiful super cute campground. First time staying at a KOA and we loved it! We were only there one night, but sure enjoyed the nice hot showers and waking up to the beautiful canopy of trees. Host were very friendly and helpful. If we find ourselves in this part of the country again we would definitely choose to stay at Fancy Gap. Thank you! ?

We had such a nice time here. The campground is so clean and the staff is incredible. We stayed in cabin 3 and it was so so nice. The view of the pond and the sitting areas outside made it so homey. The owners go above and beyond to make sure their guests are taken care of. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it there and look forward to going back! Thank you guys again for such a nice experience!

We have stayed at KOA all over the country and Fancy Gap has been the absolute best. The campground and facilities are well maintained. The best was the staff. They were friendly and went out of their way to make us feel like part of their family. We certainly will come again and recommend to our friends.

Awesome campground with friendly service. Dave's BBQ is on site and they smoke meat which we had the beef brisket sandwich with side of baked beans and macaroni and cheese. It was absolutely delicious. Definitely going back to this campgroundFood & drinks: Dave's BBQ on site was so so good

This KOA is directly off the Blue Ridge Parkway. We rented a cabin, it was supplied with anything you could need. Clean, clean, clean. Cute RV park, lots of activities.

Ok place. be aware that it is on a hillside and if walking on inclines bother you like it does me then rethink. they are not corporate and they don't participate in free days like corporate and some non corporate do. we will find somewhere else unfortunately.

Made an overnight pitstop on our way through VA at the Fancy Gap, KOA. Pleasantly surprised with how well maintained and comfortable it was (we had never stayed at a KOA before). Reserved a cabin a few nights before, and on our way down, they called to let us know a storm knocked out the TV in refrigerator in our cabin, but no worries they’d have it replaced by the time we got there and so it was.Adorable cabin perfect for the four of us overnight, they offered to bring firewood to you. Just a super cute overall family friendly location. We will definitely be back for more than just a one night stay !Nearby activities: Cute shops and antique stores within a mile of the KOA.Food & drinks: BBQ stand on site and pizza ? delivery to your cabin/or lot!Noteworthy details: Very cute, clean location and such friendly staff!Kid friendly with a fishing pond, swimming pool, gem mining ⛏️ stand , ? ping pong, and kickball billiard!

Staff was great. Camp sites are shaded and more private than some KOAs we have been to. Tons to do at the camp but also 20 mins either way to fun things too. No need to pack a bunch of food. The BBQ was good and there are plenty of good places to eat close by. I only wish there had been a little more grass for my pet's feet. Gravel made paws sore. Great time was had by all. Will definitely rebook.
