I had asked a Giant associate to where an item was located in the store she proceeded to ask another person and said never mind go ask someone in the front desk she did not know where the item was very rude she told me not to roll my eyes and it laughed at me as I was leaving the store she said excuse me ma'am I'm trying to go home when I was halfway out the door very very rude and her laughing at me is very unacceptable as a associate that works for giant

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE ! For years, I have paying a $30 copay for my medicine. Yesterday, I was asked by the pharmacist to pay $600. The pharmacist did nothing to fix the problem even after I explained that I needed the medicine to live. The people there are very lazy and apathetic. I will report them so that their pharmacy licenses can be canceled. The people there should not be working in health care.

The customer service at this Giant Pharmacy is appalling. My wife and I initially sent our prescriptions here because of the proximity to our house, but I've switched to the CVS next door as their service is far superior. This Giant Pharmacy is understaffed; prescriptions called in disappear, the waits times are long and the staff often rude. Recently my wife's doctor called in an important prescription but the pharmacist was busy giving vaccines and unavailable. This appears to be a management problem at this specific store as we used to get our prescriptions filled at the Giant in Ballston and had no problems. Steer clear of this pharmacy if you can, especially if you rely on getting your meds in a timely manner.

Although I've been shopping at this store since 2001, I'm ready to call it quits and go to the Harris-Teeter across town. I like the people who work at Giant, and for the most part I like the selection, but they have the scanners that are supposed to make things easier...the portable ones where you scan as you go, bag your groceries and scan at the checkout. However, the last couple of times I've been in there, they've had to audit (empty the bags, rescan everything and then rebag it). I understand that there are issues with shrinkage, but come on...this is ridiculous!I was told they are getting new scanners soon, but by that time I may be a loyal customer of another chain. I'm not going to shop where I feel like they think I'm a thief.

Unacceptable customer service. I had asked to talk to the manager and was told "You don't talk to manager, you talking to me. You don't know me". I had a question about an incident that had happened to me in the Giant parking lot, but was told that was also not giant property. Not sure employee's name, but he was very rude and would not calm down. Will not continue shopping here as yelling racial slurs over the phone is just not cool.

This grocery store location has always been somewhat better than other places around this area. You can always count on their produce to be super fresh and their deli to be right in cue. I've never had to wait very long to place my deli order. I have noticed however, that they had raised their prices for the honey roasted backed chicken that they sell already prepared. Last year up the price was $4.99 and this year it's $5.99, which is quite a leap. The salad bar is stocked well with everything you can imagine, but it too is quite expensive on a per-pound basis. Their milk and dairy products like yogurt have always been the most fresh, and I've never had any problems at all with the groceries that I have purchased here. My only suggestion is to not come hungry because it can save you quite a bit if money literally.

This is a decent grocery store, although it certainly can be busy. Giants are never the lowest priced, but occasionally they have a few super deals that are hard to pass up. This one located in downtown Falls Church, has a tremendous produce section. Their fruits and vegetables have to be from close by, as I've been pleasantly surprised by how fresh they are. Unfortunately the meat and seafood is overpriced, and in my opinion not that impressive. Nice staff but lacks what other Giants and competing stores have. Plus their prices here are high.Due to being off of Route 7 expect lines. This is a very busy store, and there's no getting around this. A frequent annoyance is their on sale yogurt seemingly vanished from the aisle. To their credit they've arranged the store in an intelligent manner, and the staff to shopper ratio is exemplary. The parking lot is a zoo though, so try not to get trampled by other drivers. This one gets a conditional nod of approval.

Don't come here after 10 pm. Everyone seems to turn into a pumpkin & they become really cranky. Last night I stopped by after rehearsal to grab some things & the woman at the checkout was straight rude. Tonight I stopped by again after rehearsal & I literally stood there waiting for the woman to check me out for about 5 minutes. 3 employees were standing there just chatting. They saw me but ignored me, so I went to the self-checkout. It was actually pretty bizarre. I felt like I had become invisible or something. Maybe I'm just really ugly & they didn't feel the need to waste their time. I don't know. But I definitely won't be coming to this place at night again.

I was looking for Nestle Holiday morsels for my Christmas cookies. Giant has always carried them in the past. I scoured the entire store, asked customer service, they directed me to the seasonal isle. Although I had already checked, I tried again, and spotted an employee, who identified himself as the store manager. He informed me that they did not receive them this year. He proceeded to look the item up on his phone to perhaps find it on Amazon or Walmart, both of which showed that item not available. He then provided me with the Nestle phone number. His helpfulness went above and beyond my expectations! I was so impressed by his customer service! Thank you, Mr. Manager!

The bakery shop was awesome in how they assisted me in designing a special cake for a colleague who was retiring. Not only did they present me with a beautiful cake, but what they did later was amazing! I picked up the large cake and took it home, but couldn't fit in my refrigerator. They not only said I could bring it back for the night, but repaired all the damage I inflicted on the cake when I was trying to squeeze it into our refrigerator. STAY AWAY FROM THEIR PHARMACY! The sheer incompetence and lack of customer care is one to behold...and I've dealt with many over the course of several years! You will be left waiting for ages if you walk in. Prescriptions are very rarely ready whenever you order them online (so much for convenience). You'll have to perform summersaults and cartwheels to get them to notice you standing at the counter, and even then you'll be lucky if you're greeted! Terrible....just plain terrible.
