I do have an ABC store two minutes away but if I drive three more minutes, I can go to this location. The one closer to me is fine, but it is a bit of an older store. That being said, this one always has French pastis in stock & on the shelf; Pastis is similar to Italian Sambuca or Greek Ouzo but not quite the same, lol. Sambuca is made from elderberries, Ouzo is made from distilled grapes & aniseed, & Pastis is made from anise, star anise & fennel. The store only has Pernod, which we do like, but you can special order Ricard, which is mine & my French hubs preference; they are from the same company & are both anise-flavored spirits that have their roots in absinthe, but they taste different enough from each other. Pernod is the closet to Absinthe & the company, Pernod-Ricard does, in fact, make real absinthe as well. Look up the history, it's actually an interesting story of how Pastis came about. But I digress, lol. Pastis is an anise-flavored apéritif, or apéro as the French call it, & it is a digestif (aides in digestions). It is typically drank before a meal & served over a couple ice cubes & diluted with water so that it becomes beautifully cloudy & almost a golden, iridescent yellow. Pernod is made from distillates of star anisé (on of my fave spices), fennel, & 14 other botanicals such as coriander, mint, chamomile, & Veronica to name a few. Pernod has a low licorice content which sets it apart from Ricard, which has a more pronounced licorice flavor I must say the staff here is super friendly & the female manager is the best; she always has a big smile on her face. FYI ~ if you want liquor in VA you must purchase it from the ABC store aka Alcohol & Beverage Control Authority.

I've been hunting for the most sublime soju for years which doesn't exist at any ABC stores and the rest of supermarkets, not even H Marts. I had this flavor when I was in NY which of course, cost like $18. Outrageously overpriced but it was incredibly delicious. While most of major KBBQ spots I've been to in Northern Virginia don't even have it.I decided to stop by this ABC store once again since my last visit was months ago. Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Jinro Green Grape soju bottles! This gotta be one of the newest liquors here at ABC which I sure hope they will continue to sell them for many more years.Aside from that I like this location for other reasons as well. The store is larger than other ABCs in the area, immaculate cleanliness, friendly staff and the parking spots are usually empty. If you love flavored soju then visit this location so you can start off 2020 on the right foot.

Wonderful ABC location! Kind manager that allowed me to exchange when I purchased the wrong kind of scotch for a gift and always carries the economical size bottle of the higher-end tequila we like for Palomas. So grateful this is the one here in our 'hood!

Getting in and out of this ABC store is a nightmare. Route 7 sucks, there's just no way of being kind towards this road, or the high number of complete a holes that drive on it. With that being said, if you're stuck in this area, at least there's this ABC store. Admission time, as part of my rating is due to this being a government enterprise where private industry should be allowed. It's 2019 Virginia, and your government controlled alcohol stores are a relic from the past. This causes higher prices. I don't like it as the free market is the way to be.With that out of the way, they have a good selection. I am impressed with the legalized apple pie moonshine. They have a great amount of choices in vodkas, tequilas, and whiskey but step up on the rum! As for the employees they know their hooch. If you need a recommendation, they'll be glad to help. As for the store itself, it looks like the government. Yet as far as it goes we are forced by our government to go to these, and while it could be worse, this store and all ABC's are outdated. You're going to pay more here, than you will in nearby DC and Maryland.

Yelp has listed the wrong phone number. Phone is mistyped as 571; should read 521. Call 703 521 1210. Manager said they cannot fix this error. It is up to Yelp. Store is clean, well organized. The staff was friendly- though he didn't know they carried Tennessee Honey whiskey- and manager was polite and helpful.

We needed to replace our Bailey's and went to this location. It is slightly larger than other ABC stores that I have visited. It was well-stocked. They had Bailey's original as well as their flavored and seasonal variations. The store was very clean and well-kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The store is not well-marked and somewhat hard to spot from the road. Once you know where it is, it is easy to get to and has plenty of parking spaces.
