So many good things to say.1) they are organized2) they respond to all communications3) they had a quick turnaround4) they returned the piece quicklyHaving done some furniture at the Back Dorr with the very friendly but VERY disorganized owners who have had my furniture for 8 months and dont response to communications, this is a local star. I had a coffee table done and it looks fantastic. They had so many options of paint and antiquing/patina/distressing and what layer of protection you want. VERY PLEASED

I came here for chalk paint and was very happy with the selection. The best part is their ample offering of sample paints. I had a small project--a table top--so a little container was all I needed. Was it more expensive than making my own or buying it on Amazon? Yes. Was it less wasteful and messy than getting or making my own gallon of chalk paint? Heck yes. I'd rather pay a slight premium (around $13 per sample jar) at a local small business for convenience than just get the cheapest, biggest option. The paint worked great. The store also sells gifts, knick knacks, and home decor. I didn't check out the furniture. It's a beautifully curated, spacious shop. I felt comfortable shopping on a weekday afternoon when there were no other patrons (thanks pandemic). Things are on the pricey side, but again, what I'd expect for shopping at a small business instead of yet another big box store. I picked up some paper placemats that seemed expensive, but they've become a new favorite decor item of mine, so it was totally worth it. I'll be back sometime when I have more time to look around. And I'll definitely buy more paint here.

Found a table online... I emailed for more info. They were quick to respond and able to help me over the phone. When I arrived to pick up the table, she couldn't have been nicer! The store was filled with great items... cute local shop!

Thanks to the help of everyone at Stylish Patina I was able to repaint my daughter's bed beautifully. I had no idea what I was doing but after they explained thoroughly what to do, I was was able to paint the bed and it turned out flawless! I couldn't have done it without their help and their great paint products. I am looking forward to working with you on my next project!

She hires people who are not skilled about the store's product line or Chalk painting. This summer a young sales person claimed that the gold leaf contained several colors of gold leaf. Furthermore the girl told me that a trio of gilding colors was for marketing only. Yet I was able to load this tris product in to my shopping cart when I looked online later in the day. I have not tried to get a refund from Kelly because she would take her help's side. Ok everyone has $100 to throwaway. Kelly has lost my biz to Woodcraft and Amazon.

I've purchased a few pieces of nicely done, repurposed furniture from here and am very happy with all of it! I also purchase all of my paint supplies for my own up-cycling projects from here. Such a great shop and excellent customer service. Definitely worth a visit, and you'll be back again!

This place is FULL SERVICE! Kelly, the owner, is super knowledgeable and so friendly! She can help you with anything for your home! From styling a space, to buying furniture or home decor, design services, or encouraging you to paint some furniture you already have! If you’re not into DIY, they also paint furniture for people! Talk about helpful! They are just amazing and have really great, high quality things in their shop!

Stylish Patina is a favorite of mine for unique and thoughtful gifts. Their chalk painted furniture is reasonably priced and stunning! I’ve purchased a few light fixtures there and love how timeless and gorgeous they are! Such a great, local shop with a knowledgeable and friendly staff!
