Judy Scott - Staples in Falls Church:I had a little project where I needed ten individual photos of each of my ten grandchildren printed on photo paper. I went to the Staples store. Abraham Krell-Enriquez waited on me. Right away, I had a problem sending the pictures to his computer. He was very patient and helped me send them and he explained what I was doing wrong. After printing the pictures, I explained that I needed each picture trimmed to remove the wide white borders around each picture so they would fit (centered) on a 8 ½ X 10 colored paper and they needed to be laminated. He did not hesitate, he very patiently trimmed each one and carefully placed them in the lamination folder and then laminated them. He could have suggested that I trim them myself at the table provided for customers.Abraham was excellent! He went above and beyond taking time with my project all while having to stop and help other customers and answer the phone requests.I did this project on three or four different trips (not having all of the pictures on my first trip). By the second trip he recognized me walking in the door and greeted me with a big smile!I have been coming to this Staples since it opened (maybe six or seven years). I have always received excellent service from all of the workers and the managers go out of their way to make sure customers are taken care of!!

Amazon twice sent me the wrong cartridge and now I was desperate for printer ink. I called ahead to see if they had the ink for my printer and they said yes and gave me the price. When I walked in the store, I was impressed with the signage. It was very easy to find the ink and the brand. Kudos! But no need... they had it up front waiting for me!

Had a TSA appointment at 9:20. When I arrived, a very rude person behind the printer area, said “I’m not TSA” with a grimace on her face. When I asked the supervisor to help me, she said she was not authorized to do it, and had no way of notifying any customers throughout the day that all of their appointments will be canceled. It’s not until people show up that they realize that they came to the store for no reason. Worst experience of my life. Don’t ever come here for any reason at any time.

This Staples location is absolute garbage! None of the computers at the work station were operational. The person working at the business center offered no helpful solution and also said they can't print on card stock at that location. He was just completely unhelpful. I don't know how this location hasn't already gone out of business

I was trying to buy a printer but the clerk (who wasn't doing anything) seemed completely uninterested in helping me. He left the box precariously on the edge of the counter and then wouldn't let me enter my rewards number. The receipt had a customer survey, which I filled out and repeated my complaint but which has been ignored to date.

I tried to print business cards in Springfield staples and which they are amazing but the problem is their business card cutting machine doesn't work and I came to falls church location. It is exactly same system, everything is same but they said they cannot print from email which Springfield staples even showed me on their computer that they can. Also when I upload the design I received an email from staples it says " you can go to any staples location and print with this code". I showed them this email lady said in the printing they don't know how they did in Springfield but we cannot. They should put at least people that how their system works. Actually I am sure she knows how it works but she didn't want to deal with that. This is over $300 print and she doesn't care if customer goes to another business. It is really rude that not doing customer order.

Terrible experience. Card reader was broken, no warning or sign didn’t find out until after 15 min of standing in line. I tried to buy 1 bubble mailer less than $3. Staff member was rude just shrugged his shoulders and said have a good day with no alternative. Huge waste of time.

Horrible service and manager involvement. Invites printed did not meet our specific requirements, late delivery and rude customer service by the print desk manager.

TSA Precheck attendee was a no show. There's no real way to check if the person will be there.

TSA Precheck attendee was a no show. There's no real way to find out if there will be a person present if you drive out there.

We had an awesome experience with Abraham in Printing. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in all of our requests. Abraham offered solutions and was willing to work with his other team members to delivery the invitations we ordered. I would highly recommend speaking with him if you have printing needs at Staples.

Came here to utilize their print services. But so many things were wrong... 1) Their printers have a wireless card reader, but is not activated. Meaning it could support Apple Pay/Android Pay but doesn't. 2) Their printers don't properly print pdfs with pictures and text overlays. 3) Their junior employees are not properly trained. I asked to get a refund on the messed up prints and two of their employees didn't even know how to issue a refund. I waited 20 min for a manager to do it and took them only a min. 4) One of their employees just straight up had an attitude when I pointed out the issue with their self-service printer. He just immediately said 'we can do it for you but it will cost extra and oh do you need it done today?, that will cost extra with the rush fee.' Um proper customer service would do it you for free since their machine messed up the print, not push more fees. 5) This 'rush fee' basically is a 30% additional cost if you want a printing service done same day after 2pm. They couldn't even do a simple 1 page print job right away when I agreed to this ridiculous rush fee. They said they can only guarantee it be done within 1 hour. Well I didn't come here is wait already for them to just print a piece of paper that would only take a few secs....this policy either needs to be nuked or reconsidered for small print jobs. Their competitor Office Depot doesn't have such a farce. Guess where I'll be heading next. I won't be utilizing their business center ever again and you shouldn't either. Staples was a good stationary store and it should just stay that way.
