I have been coming to this location for a little over a year, for office supplies and never had a problem or complaint, but recently my printer broke and haven’t shop for a new one so I thought staples was convenient to print a few documents and decided to go there and do it myself.
Everything was fine until the machine I was working on got jammed with one of my documents so I came to the printing section for help. I saw a “nice” lady(judging from appearance) who now I’ve learned her name is Annette she was obviously busy stocking merchandise but not busy with clients, so I asked for help. She look at me with disgust and Immediately proceeded to say she was busy with 2 clients and that she couldn’t help and that if I needed help I would have to wait till she was done with them two. I was confused because there were no clients nearby and the only person near her was an associate (male) who just seemed to be fixing another machine. So I had no option but wait. 2 mnts later a different person came and me being the only person there obviously needing help she came and asked if she could help me. She helped me with what I needed but left confused as what have I done to make Annette completely disregard me, I thought she might be having a bad day and forgot about it.
A few days later it I need to print a few other papers and came back having already forgotten the last experience because I would not keep a chip on my shoulder for someone else’s having a bad day.
I proceeded to try to print my copies and realized that the attachment I’ve sent didn’t appear on the document I was printing. So I saw the other lady who happened to remember me from the other day and I asked to help me. She thought I could send the documents to a different email address for them to print it for me and turned to Annette for help. The helpful associate tried explaining Annette what was the problem but didn’t understand her, so I said to Annette allow me to explain… but she immediately turned her back and ignored me without saying a word or at least acknowledging me and walked away. The other lady felt bad and said “I am sorry “
This being the second time that has happened something similar with Annette, I felt it was personal. Has she profiled me?
What is it about me that makes her be nasty and to give me a rude attitude?
What did I do to upset her?
That being said, I won’t be coming back to this location and would recommend management to keep an eye out for associates who profile customers for their race or accent.

Annette is absolutely wonderful here! She works in the printing department and is not only so kind and helpful, but just a pleasant person to interact with. She gave me excellent customer service for my last minute asks and I truly appreciate what she does.

Staples HP toner was not available in the store, and buying online cost over $1000 for 4-color pack.

Last 2 rewards coupons didn’t work at checkout and associate just shrugged their shoulders and said “Ya, we’ve been having problems with those.” So my rewards expired without getting the benefit. Also, impossible to have an associate help you immediately in the copy area even if no other customers around. Their explanation on why they can’t help you is longer than what was requested.

The location in Falls Church - lady was super helpful and even was able to show distinction in print out on a different paper which was helpful. The print out was great quality! But use the staples in Falls Church. I used a different one later and was not so happy with the outcome.

Their front desk staff are extremely disrespectful with a lot of customers specially staples falls church woman is so disrespectful an annoying. Please stop going to staples

Judy Scott - Staples in Falls Church:I had a little project where I needed ten individual photos of each of my ten grandchildren printed on photo paper. I went to the Staples store. Abraham Krell-Enriquez waited on me. Right away, I had a problem sending the pictures to his computer. He was very patient and helped me send them and he explained what I was doing wrong.After printing the pictures, I explained that I needed each picture trimmed to remove the wide white borders around each picture so they would fit (centered) on a 8 ½ X 10 colored paper and they needed to be laminated.He did not hesitate, he very patiently trimmed each one and carefully placed them in the lamination folder and then laminated them. He could have suggested that I trim them myself at the table provided for customers.Abraham was excellent! He went above and beyond taking time with my project all while having to stop and help other customers and answer the phone requests.I did this project on three or four different trips (not having all of the pictures on my first trip). By the second trip he recognized me walking in the door and greeted me with a big smile!I have been coming to this Staples since it opened (maybe six or seven years). I have always received excellent service from all of the workers and the managers go out of their way to make sure customers are taken care of!!

Amazon twice sent me the wrong cartridge and now I was desperate for printer ink. I called ahead to see if they had the ink for my printer and they said yes and gave me the price. When I walked in the store, I was impressed with the signage. It was very easy to find the ink and the brand. Kudos! But no need... they had it up front waiting for me!
