This Auction is ridiculous. Auction is like a joke. They extended the closing time for 2 days after the original closing time without any prior notice. If they are unsatisfied with the current bids they might extend the deadline again. Unfair to all bidders. ShameIf you have the same experience and thinking about class-action lawsuit, please contact me

This is a fun auction house with a wide variety of items from Beanie Babies to WW1 Trench Knives. Best of all, it's local(ish) to me! I too was a victim of ProxiBid's f...oul up, it wasn't Quinn's fault and I'm glad they extended it, I was outbid on a couple items I'd won before, but I won a bunch I was closed out of by Proxibid's screw-up. I freaking LOVE their Wed Auctions!:D

As a longtime customer of Quinn's Auction Galleries, it is with a heavy heart that I write this review. Over the years, I've observed a gradual but steady shift in their business practices, from a somewhat questionable but mostly honest operation during their in-person auction days, to a disappointing lack of transparency and fairness in their current online ventures. In the past, Quinn's was not without its flaws - there were times when I questioned their decisions, but I generally found them to be reliable, and their auctions were a staple in the local community. Now, it appears that the shift to the online format has, unfortunately, exacerbated some of the issues that were just under the surface.A glaring example of this trend was a recent online auction where the end date was unexpectedly extended because Quinn's was allegedly experiencing technical difficulties, but the more likely cause was they were unsatisfied with the current bids. This action betrays the fundamental principles of auctioneering: fairness, clear rules, and fixed deadlines. This incident suggests a concerning shift in Quinn's priorities from customer satisfaction and trust to a narrow focus on profit. It tarnishes the reputation they built over the years and leaves their customers, including me, questioning their integrity. This review is both a caution and a call for change. To potential bidders, I advise you to be wary until Quinn's addresses these issues. To Quinn's Auction Galleries, I implore you to realign your business practices with the principles that originally drew customers to you: fairness, transparency, and respect for your patrons. It is with deep disappointment that I assign a one-star rating to Quinn's. My hope is that this feedback will provoke introspection and eventual improvements, restoring the trust of their longtime customers. Until I see evidence of such changes, however, I will be taking my business elsewhere and encourage others to do the same.

I had an issue with an online auction purchase. I dealt with Lori and she was honest and professional. Problem was resolved. Highly recommend and would do business with them again with no reservations.

Initially I was disappointed with a purchase for an online auction item. I contacted the house and Lori was very professional and honest and fixed the problem. She did not have to provide such customer service, but she is a true pro. I highly recommend this place.

Incredibly easy transaction. They helped organize shipping from a third-party. Everything went very smooth. Will use again, for sure.

Due to an error of my own, I accidentally purchased an item during an auction from Quinn's. The staff were extremely kind to see my mistake and equally generous in corresponding with me to mitigate my predicament. They were very diligent with responding to my emails and also very benevolent in their customer service. I look forward to now being an eager participant in a future auction with Quinn's because of this experience!!

I had a bad experience with Quinn's Auctions, but they addressed and mitigated my concerns.1) I am a regular customer with Quinn's Auctions. I won a lot at their recent auction. One of the music boxes was dropped on the floor completely shattered by their staff Samantha, while she was inspecting it. I decided not to pick up the lot and request a refund2) Two items in the lot are music boxes; which DO NOT play music :-( It was NOT mentioned in the subject line, but only in fine print in their auction listing. It's easy to overlook and I overlooked it. In my opinion, it is not ethical to sell music boxes which do not play music, and mention in fine print. The item was accidentally shattered by their staff, prior to picking it up. Hence, I requested a full refund. It took a while and follow ups, but they processed my refund. They also assured me, they will issue refunds promptly in future.

I must apologize for the looong delay in reviewing Quin’s. When my husband retired, we needed to significantly reduce our collections from our travel and work in unique places. We selected Quin’s because they were realistic in the market for African masks, Afghan carpets, etc. Their appraiser also had a genuine curiosity and appreciation for the workmanship that had attracted us when we purchased these things. Long story short, we knew that auctions have their own logic in pricing and that the ultimate price is more a factor of the emotions of the bidders than intrinsic value of the piece. They kept us informed of the auction schedule and sent us the check.

The negative reviews you see are left by karens. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The process was trivial. I showed up early and after they verified my identity, I left with my stuff in under 10 minutes. I would absolutely shop here again.

The man that I spoke to at Quinn's (allegedly a "manager") regarding a question about my purchase was so incredibly rude and sarcastic, that I said it was likely the last time that I would bid with them. His sarcastic response? Along the lines of "I couldn't care less; you go ahead and knock yourself out." With all of the good people that you could hire, and that would provide a modicum of decency and customer service, why would you tolerate such hateful behavior from an employee??? Apparently, Quinn doesn't care. Look at the BBB complaints and the comments online. There are many other auction houses out there that do actually care about their service - save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere.

Rude does not begin to describe the staff! I have been purchasing from this auction house for 6 months. Every time there is an interaction with staff they are extremely rude. They receive 25% buyers premium and a seller premium-plus they don’t allow in-person inspection-their photos and descriptions are misleading-and they still have the audacity to be rude.My schedule pick up time today was 2pm. I arrived at 1:51pm-no one else is here-no other person picking up-staff is just standing around-so I knocked and said I was here but a few min early. I was met with an attitude saying “then you already know you’re early. See you in 10 min) and the door shut in my face. Every employee acts this way. I think they forget-without us buying they wouldn’t have a job-they wouldn’t have an auction house-try being Polite to people-kindness goes a long way. I have spent thousands in the last 6 months-and this will be the last dollar I spend with this auction house. Extremely rude staff-I certainly don’t need them as much as they need bidders/buyers. There are many places to buy items. Please read all reviews and understand why this shady auction house with rude staff has barely above a 3-star rating.

I was pleased with the service and outcome of the auction. I had somewhat different requirements than others may have: I needed a large house cleared quickly and wanted to keep the costs down for doing so. Quinn explained the rationale for their processes, did everything they said they would, kept me informed of costs I was incurring, and gave me clear answers to my questions. They were also flexible when I made last minute changes. In the end my charges were minimal. Very happy.
