All About Paws DMV LLC
7961 Yancey Dr, Falls ChurchAmazing experience I got my two boys groomed. They are senior dogs and have some arthritis in the back legs and some skin issues. She worked with and bathed them with a special shampoo for skin allergy. Also got recommended products for skin allergies and possible different diets for allergy sensitive dogs. She sent me pictures through out and updated me with anything I needed to know. Quick to responded and very timely. I recommend Anyone taking their time to do research on a good groomer to definitely take you dogs here. I couldn’t have had a better experience.

Pet Care

Caring Hands Animal Hospital - Merrifield
8100B Arlington Blvd, Falls ChurchOur feline was overdue for some shots and and an exam. My wife took her here yesterday, It was our first visit here and the staff and doctor were excellent. Everyone treated our little Gracie so kindly and professionally. Now she is all up to date on her shots and felling frisky and happy. We changed vet practices for reasons I won't go into here but suffice it to say we have had to adjust our lifestyle to that of a fixed income couple at this stage of our lives and the services and cost here were mor in line with what we could handle without scrimping on care for our little girl. So glad we found this practice. NOMV!

Fairfax Animal Hospital
5818 Seminary Rd D, Falls ChurchI had such a great time with my golden Finn! We’re new to the area and we move around a lot so we’ve been to a lot of vets. I’ve found it hard to find ones I like. This team was amazing and we’re happy to be patients here as long as we’re in the area.

Unleashed Abilities: Coaching People, Training Dogs
3724 Woodland Cir, Falls ChurchWe cannot speak highly enough of Keri and Unleashed Abilities. Over the last 15 years, we have been lucky enough to work with Keri with each of our three rescue dogs. Keri proved herself to be nothing short of a miracle worker when working with us and our first dog - a desert dog from the Middle East (who earned the name “Wild Dog” from his rescuers). To say he needed a lot of training would be an understatement, but after a few months with Keri, he settled into life with us and was the absolute best boy.We are currently working on training our newest rescue dog. Keri gives such great guidance that we saw a remarkable effect after just the first session. As we’ve continued to work together, his behavior and leash manners have improved immensely. Keri is wonderful at modeling how we can work with him and gives us clear “homework” to work on between sessions. She also has great rapport with dogs - he absolutely adores her and even our nervous older dog is instantly at ease with her. She is quick to respond if we have questions between sessions and we have always felt very supported. We highly recommend Keri and Unleashed Abilities!

Capital Petsitters
201 Park Washington Ct, Falls ChurchTheyve been lifesavers and the initial consultation/visitation was thorough and she took her time taking in all the info and writing down notes. The sitters have been so great with our cat who always loves company. It gives us peace of mind to have someone nearby to check in on him.

Dogtopia of Falls Church
108 W Jefferson St, Falls ChurchMy dog loves it here for daycare. The employees are always kind and take good care of my dog. With that said, there are a few things to consider for some before using this service for your dog - yes, dogs do potty inside but the smells are different there than at home. Yes, they will crate your dog if they need a break. I trust that if my dog is in a crate outside of nap time, he probably needed a break (he has 0 chill). Make sure that your dog is comfortable in a crate for their break times. If you or your dog aren't comfortable with that, consider looking into somewhere else. Also keep all of your paper work as contracts are subject to change. I made the mistake of messing this up and had a whole issue that was eventually resolved. No biggie. To sum it up, my dog comes home tired and happy which makes me happy.

I was so lucky that she walked another dog in my neighborhood when I got my puppy, and now I highly recommend her to all of my friends! Coming home to the little notebook to read about their daily adventures is so sweet. She is so accommodating of schedule changes and just wants what is best for my baby, and any visiting pups that are staying over.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Settle Down Easy Brewing Co.
2822 Fallfax Dr, Falls ChurchThis brewery stands out as one of Virginia's finest! JD and Jimmy made an effort to understand our beer preferences and offered thoughtful recommendations based on your taste. Every beer we tried was perfectly crafted and balanced. The entire space, from the taproom to the restrooms, is kept spotlessly clean. The genuine care they show for both their craft and their customers makes this place truly exceptional.

The Casual Pint of Falls Church
6410 Arlington Blvd Suite E, Falls ChurchPretty nice place. Lots on tap with a rotating selection, a calendar of events including discount nights, trivia, etc. Decent amount of food selection, though the prices are sometimes high considering. Very nice staff.
I will say that the water dispenser could use more ice. Otherwise no complaints really.

Fava Pot
7393 D Lee Hwy, Falls ChurchReally enjoyed the food here. Order the appetizer sampler which brought hummus, fava beans, and falafel. All amazing. The hummus was creamy and super smooth. The fava beans were seasoned to perfection with sumac and onions and the falafel was some of the best I’ve had outside of Cairo.
Entrees were the kofta kabob which was grilled and seasoned to perfection and the Koshary was a delectable meal that brought rice, pasta, onions and chicken w/ tomato sauce.
Coupled with the host who was as friendly as can be, all in all, a perfect mix of food and service that does not disappoint. Highly recommended!

Celebrity Delly
7263A Arlington Blvd, Falls ChurchDecided to try this spot out for brunch and were not let down by their endless variety of options! On weekends they serve brunch/breakie all day. We tried the french toast w/ strawberries, Lord stanley eggs benny, and a BYO omelette: onions, peppers, tomatoes, spinach&mushroom w cheese + fries $50. All of it was superb. Well seasoned, fresh, and good portions. We even considered ordering sandwiches to go, but it was busy and figured we could save that for another trip. Absolutely will be coming back to try a sandwich. The service was a bit slow, but considering how many people were in and out it was great for a Sunday. You wont regret this spot- If you love NY style Jewish Deli food as much as I do, stop by.

BoBaPoP Tea Bar - Merrifield
2831 Gallows Rd, Falls ChurchBoBaPoP Tea Bar is a cute, cozy and intimate tea shop that has a ton of tea options and a decent amount of smoothie options. The smoothie and tea options are all reasonably priced and very appealing, flavor wise.
The service here was also good. I was greeted immediately and given options of their most popular/tasty drinks as I definitely came here very indecisive.
I opted for the caramel milk tea with 50% sugar, which wasn’t overly sweet, yet still fairly tasty.
As it pertains to parking, there are an abundant amount of options in this shopping center.

乡味小厨 - Uncle Liu's Hot Pot
2972 Gallows Rd, Falls ChurchThe crab rangoon is so upscale compared to most restaurants: sweet crab and crispy wanton. The tea makes them pop (flavor). \n\nI ordered sweet and sour chicken it was beautiful and the batter was light, crispy and delicious. It was not greasy at all. \n\nThis is a fine place to dine.
