Loved coming here. Rovina and her crew are amazing at their skills and talents. They moved flawlessly around the salon working on myself and another lady. I came to them last minute desperately needing my hair cut and a few highlights. Put in for an event. They squeezed me in and did a fabulous job. I will have to fly back to Falls Church to get my hair done. In the future Rovina has an eye for changing it up.

After a horrible experience earlier in the day at another salon, I called Kess last minute after finding them online, and they fit me in the same day. My prior appointment gave me horrendous choppy layers when I asked for subtle face framing pieces. I asked Rovina if I could get a collarbone length bob to fix their mistake and she absolutely delivered! She is truly an amazing professional and very talented at what she does. Rovina and her team were so kind and welcoming and explained each step of the way the changes they were making to get my cut where it needed to be. I now have a health, beautiful bob and plan to return for maintenance cuts. Cannot thank the team at Kess enough!

Kess has excellent service! They cater to whatever your needs are. I asked Rovina for a full set of highlights and she exceeded my expectations and I have never felt this happy with my hair. Rovina and her staff are so friendly and caring. They bring such a bright and amazing energy to you and the service. This is the best salon I have been too, everyone should come to Rovina and get their hair done.

ZERO STARS. In the 28+ years that I have had my hair colored, I have never been treated the way I was treated by Kess Hair & Skincare. They were extremely unprofessional, rude and ruined my hair. I asked them to highlight my hair with a few lowlights and to trim my hair (provided a picture of my expectations). Instead, I received black lowlights all over my hair, bleach applied directly to my scalp that was a brassy/gold color, highlights that were an inch from my hairline so that my roots were still very visible, additional white bleach highlights added to the front of my face, and nearly 5 inches cut off my hair in a choppy, messy fashion. I attempted to let them “fix” my hair and each successive attempt only made it worse. When I contested my bill (over $375 and which I reluctantly paid in order to not make a scene and in the hopes my hair was not as bad as I thought), I was originally told I would receive a refund, but ended up being screamed at by the manager during two successive attempts to resolve the situation. I ended up contesting the payment with my credit card company and after providing them with pictures of my ruined hair and a description of my horrible experiences with the owners of Kess, I received a full refund. I would never again set foot in this hair salon and no, there is nothing Kess can do/say to change my mind on this.

they did my highlights for virgin hair greatly and excellent customer service Mrs.rovina colored my hair perfectly along with my eyebrows the salon is quite expensive but she offered a followup appointment for free to toner both the salon and I are happy with the results thank you so much and god bless your efforts

I have had 3 cuts by Rowina and have been super pleased. She took the time to look at my growth patterns and was very honest about what styles would work or not. She sets realistic expectations. But she exceeded those expectations every time. My hair is much easier to style and has more volume. Recommend this place.

Rovina is the best!!! She has magic in her hands. After getting your hair cut by her you will not like any other salon. She gives you suggestions as to what will look nicer and patiently listens to what you want done.
We got our hair done for the entire bridal party by her for my son’s wedding.

Rovina gave me and my daughter fantastic haircuts. I'm usually happy with my haircut when I leave the salon, but it just doesn't look quite as good when I wash it and style it myself. Not so this time. Still really happy with it, even without the professional blow dry. Highly recommend!

I had the best experience here! Ravina made sure to check in several times to ask if the length was right, I’m donating my hair so I went from very long hair to a short bob, and she did a fantastic job. She advised me to use a clarifying shampoo, no stylist has ever told me about this and with my previously long hair this would have helped me greatly before. I will only be getting my hair cuts from Ravina for the foreseeable future. Thank you so much for the great advice and wonderful service!

Rovina did a wonderful job with my hair. I called for an appt and she was able to squeeze me in on a snowy holiday. She cut off more than 8 inches of my hair and gave me an absolutely new hairdo. I was nervous but it came out great! She had some amazing help from Ingrid and Naomi (I may have not got her name right)... but they were busy and still able to handle everyone beautifully. Thank you!
