We couldn’t be happier to have found Steve and Sarah McIlvaine. As first time home buyers with little knowledge and information on purchasing a home we nervously reached out and in no time they made us comfortable by allowing us at no commitment to ask all the questions before embarking on this journey. Steve and Sarah assured us that they would curate a list of homes specifically to our needs and wants. They listened to us and our concerns, they suggested options that were very do-able for us that we would not have thought of. Sarah made sure we were looking beyond the homes as this is a big purchase, she wanted to make sure we looked at windows, roofs, electrical you name it. Our minds were at ease throughout the entire process, and now we can peacefully enjoy our first new home with the help of the MclIvaine Home Team.

Steve is a wonderful realtor! When I made the decision to sell my home, I was not sure how to proceed but Steve made the process easy. He laid out a plan to make repairs and list my home and connected me to quality vendors to perform the work as well as businesses to help with junk removal, moving and making my home ready for the open house. He did early marketing before the open house to ensure interest in the property and we received an offer at the first open house. If you are looking for a realtor that really cares and listens to your needs, I would highly recommend Steve sell your home.

Words cannot express the full gratitude we have toward Steve and Sarah at McIlvaine Home Team. We highly recommend them to anyone who is considering purchasing or selling their home. We did both with MHT, and were thrilled with the process and results. Steve and Sarah made a very stressful situation easy. They are professional, candid, and practical with their advice. They did their research on the market and came up with a tailored marketing plan for our sale. Our timing was difficult: we made the decision to make an offer over July 4th weekend and then needed to get our house quickly on the market. They both worked tirelessly on our behalf leading to a ratified purchase contract in days, and our home sold at a great price after only two weeks on the market. Steve and Sarah worked tirelessly to find us a home that met our expectations. Since we are a military family, Sarah walked through many, many houses virtually for us. Steve used his excellent negotiation skills to get us a home with an inspection and appraisal gap during a time when it was expected that the buyer waive the inspection and appraisal gap. As a first time seller, the process was intimidating but they made it as easy as possible. Versus some other realtors, they care about your individual needs and establishing a long-term relationship and you will never be just a number.
