Aurora was amazing. She helped me with my fabric and was extremely helpful with finding deals for the color I was looking for. Would definitely come back.

Absolutely horrid attitude and customer service from Aurora at the fabric counter. She had a terrible demeanor and constantly berated me while I was asking for her help. Why would Joann's need employees if customers can do and find everything by themselves? Management needs to retrain or hire new staff because the experience created by the current staff is wholly unprofessional.

They should change or improve the way they cut the fabrics. The lady who serves in that area serves the customer poorly and in case the lady doesn't know, the store lives off the customer.

I was not surprised to see the other reviews talk about how poor the customer service is here. I was there yesterday and I had to hunt down a worker in the store in order to check out, who acted like she was doing me a favor, including talking to another coworker over the walkie talkie system about how she didn't get why I went to find her, because there were "only two" people waiting in line to check out [with no employee at the register. She also refused to do anything when the coupon from the Joann app didn't work for whatever reason. Just really rude.

The website and Google search are not in alignment with what's posted on the store door. I drove all the way out here to beat the 9pm closing (got here at 7:45) just to find they changed their hours! What a poor communication!

I went with my family to the Joann fabric store today Unfortunately I faced with the rude and bad behaviour associate there it means the people who were working over there was very rude. they don’t know how to deal and keep happy their customers specially the cashier and cutter section associates were worst. I decided that I wont go over there again

The staff were all very nice at this location. I wanted to mention this, because so many other reviews mention rude staff. I spoke with three different people working in the store, and they were all very pleasant! Also, the prices are good. I shop the sales.

every time i go to this location i regret it any time of the week they are ???? from young to old employees all have terrible attitudes. like I get that you’re understaffed but remember that these are potential customers no reason to be act so miserable. Also they’re cutting fabric area closes at 5:30 but they literally never announce it so you can like be shopping and picking out a fabric all to find out that they’re closed after 530. oh also, the back definitely doesn’t know how to cut fabric properly. Worst of all. It really bothers me that the young girls that are most likely in high school have such a nasty attitude like I hope they don’t think that this is how to go about conducting themselves in real life.

The ladies who cut your fabrics at this location are the worst! I tried looking for another location but the next closest location is Woodbridge or Fairxfax - both 30 mins away. My first experience was with a young lady. She was unwilling to help me find the fabric I needed. The 2nd time I went was a different woman and same thing. The employees cutting the fabrics have an attitude when you ask them questions. On top of that they have a tool to help them cut the fabric straight yet somehow how they are always in a rush and cut your fabrics all jagged. We are paying customers and they should care how they handle the fabrics. Otherwise why work there at all if you don’t care how you treat the fabrics or your customers.

Hours are changed weekly and not updated online anywhere. Have called dozens of times for various reasons and no one ever answers.

Wouldn’t cut my fabric into individual yards that I needed for a project because there “wasn’t staff” even though I’m a student doing a philanthropy event and don’t have the materials to cut myself but no one else was in line and there were two ladies behind the desk and was very rude when I called and tried to place an order over the phone because the website wasn’t working. When I asked nicely she said “I hope you have scissors at home” with a snooty look.

Horrible customer service. While in the fabric department I asked an associate stocking the area for help with fabric. The associate told me no she would not help me because she was busy. I asked her if there was someone she could call to help me have fabric cut and she said, “No.” I just don’t understand why the customer service at this location in particular is so bad..maybe there’s a flaw in the hiring process. This incident was not the first time I’ve experienced awful customer service but it will be the last..I refuse to spend another penny supporting a business that treats customer poorly.
