Do not get your appliances at Home Depot. They send out appliances that have been packed damaged and do not want to exchange them or help you out. I received a dishwasher that had no damage to the outside box or the packaging and the door and inside were bent and they insisted I had to go through GE the manufacturer. GE service inspected it and found it had been damaged inside and the whole unit needs to be replaced. I'll never shop at Home Depot again. You pay good money and they don't want to do the right thing. They also delayed my kitchen renovation with all this back and forth of Home Depot and GE not wanting to do the right thing.

The people here really do help you and they want you to have what you need. It's just difficult to get lumber cut because there is only one person that can do it. I came back on two different days and it was just the one person and he was on lunch break one time and the next I had to wait a little bit not too long. They need to train more people how to use this that are on shift

An odd Home Depot, split in realms of two,Where levels divide the goods in view.Down a ramp so grand, hardware lies in wait,Challenging the haul of bulk, a peculiar trait.Yet within these walls, the staff shines bright,Friendly faces greeting, in languages of light.English and Spanish, they fluently speak,Aiding all customers, strong or meek.

They never respond on the phone I was left on hold for nearly half an hour to ask a simple question that could’ve been answered in 10 seconds. Couldnt reach anyone to help

DO NOT go here if you're white!! Took me 40 minutes to return an item I had bought online because no one cared to do their job and they constantly smirked at each other and laughed at me as to demean me and it seems blatantly obvious that it was all because I was white. They helped every single minority even without a receipt while making me wait and not even answering my question. Literally the simplest thing in the world -- make a return took them 40 minutes and wasted my time.

I cannot express how badly run this store is. The store manager should be ashamed of themselves. Just try to call their phone number and see if it's possible to get ahold of -- anybody. I called 6 times over the course of an hour this morning to try to have an issue with an installation moved forward after Home Depot did not complete the ordering of the services for 2 weeks (after a messed up installation where the parts did not arrive completely and so a second installation is now required, taking yet more time). The store personnel, while in store, generally don't know where things are, the inventory is a mess, the parking is exceptionally difficult because of the second story of parking with ramps -- it's cramped parking and likely to yield accidents in the lot. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE STORE. Avoid it.

I want to let the GM of the Falls Church location and all of upper management know that I had a rare act of kindness and next level service as I was using Self Checkout by Ama!As I was trying to checkout I realized that I did not have my wallet. Attempted to provide ID VIA phone pic and verify my account through email, but Ama could not accept that as Im sure she was following procedure.I believe she sensed how urgently I wanted to make this small purchase and she proceeded to make a cash transaction with money from her pocket!!♥️. I don't think anyone expects this type of service nor should they. I was blown away as I have worked in the service industry for decades. Her kindness will not be forgotten and paid forward. Little things can have big impact. Ama deserves recognition and I will be returning to pay her a thank you visit.#payitforward!

Horrible customer service. I went in to buy a power tool and since they're all in locked shelves, asked for an associate to come unlock the case. I waited 40 minutes while they called multiple times and when someone finally showed up, they couldn't find the item despite the website and store inventory saying they had 3 in stock. Save your time and frustration and order online for delivery.

I am extremely disappointed in the product quality and customer service provided to me by Home Depot. Summary: - 8 unanswered emails on the status of my repair over 2 months - Approximately 20 phone calls to the store without service provided - Almost half the cost of the door itself spent on repairs fully at my expense, approaching the full amount of the door with the latest issue ($1,000) - No acknowledgement of responsibility or accountability - Inaccurate assessment of the reason for damage (wind) despite photo and video evidence, and that no other storm doors in my townhome complex sustained any damage at all. I purchased a storm door plus installation from Home Depot in September of 2022, and it was installed in November of 2022. In December of 2022, the door did not latch properly and was blown open during a windstorm, and the closer bent beyond repair. When I went to Home Depot for support in fixing the door, they provided a new closer and told me it was an easy fix and to do it myself. In March of 2023, I came home one evening to find the storm door wide open, blown off the hinges so violently that the closer was bent again, but the hinges also partially ripped off the doorframe. Every other townhome in my neighborhood has storm doors, and none were dislodged from their frames. I ensure my door latches whenever I shut it, so at this point it was obvious it was a faulty installation. Because the door would not shut, I had to remove it and lay it down in my living room until I could have someone from Home Depot provide assistance with the repair. That unfortunately never happened. The in store representative initiated an email to get the repairs underway, requesting information from me so they knew what parts were required. I replied with the requested information, and after several days of no response, I reached out via email. Another week passed without a response, so I reached out again. I then received an automated communication that one part was ordered, but it was not the full suite of parts needed for the repair. After a week went by with no response, I emailed to check on the status. Another week passed without a response, so I reached out again. In total, I had 5 unanswered emails over the course of a month. I tried calling the store approximately 20 times at different days and times, over the span of weeks, yet no one could help place the order for the replacement part as Home Depot would not cover it, but no one could articulate why. At this point the installer reached out, and claimed they were not responsible. The Millworks manager Natalie was particular unprofessional and unhelpful. She could not or would not explain why Home Depot would not cover the replacement of a faulty part and/or install when the door had not even been in place for 6 months, and when I was asking for help and next steps, admittedly very frustrated after going a month plus with no correspondence from Home Depot, her response was "what do you expect me to do about it?". Getting desperate, I tried speaking to another department manager. He assured me Natalie would call me the next day so I could order the part at my own expense, as Home Depot has proven they do not stand behind the quality of their products or their customer service. In what I have learned is typical from Natalie, she did not reach out to me for several days. At the end of everything, I had 8 unanswered emails from Home Depot over the course of 2 months. I asked to speak to the store manager or assistant store manager, and neither were in the store, and no one could tell me the next day they would be in the store. I lost count of the number of times I called and the line went dead during a transfer. I wound up ordering directly from the manufacturer, who was cheaper and provided better service. As I write this my door has just blown off the frame again on a mildly windy day. The door was latched, and no other doors in my neighborhood have been impacted. This was clearly a bad installation, and Home Depot refuses to make the situation right. For your hom
