Herland, at the Baileys Crossroads store, is the best. He was very helpful in pulling together my living room furniture. I have purchased from Hamiltons before and have been happy with the quality of their furniture.

When someone is shopping for a sofa that can cost several thousand dollars, you expect the employees of the store you're shopping at to show some interest. Well, I was the only customer in the store and the manager was the only employee I saw. I tried to ask some questions about their products, but got cut off by a ringing phone that needed to be answered. No problem. But when the phone WASN'T ringing, I got no follow-up from the manager. He could have cared less that I was there to make a purchase. I sat for several minutes looking through one of the manufacturer's catalogs expecting the manager to come over to me. Didn't happen. I finally got up and walked out the door only to hear him say (from behind his desk) "do you have any questions?" Nope. I got the answer I needed which was that I will never order from your store.

Customer service is absolutely amazing. I have been shopping for months for a very specific type and size sectional chaise sofa. Shiva Sepahi and her colleague stop at nothing to find me exactly what I needed. They took down my information and continue to search, even after I left the store. Then called me immediately when they found my sofa. They were so nice and patient with me throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend this location if you’re looking for custom furniture.

I purchased a leather sofa from this store and quality + customer service were both top notch. The product was identical looking to one I had seen at West Elm, but much more comfortable and priced $1,000 lower. Highly recommend checking out the store if you're shopping for new leather furniture.

I've never written a review on YELP before. Why now? Because HERLAND BAKER, who runs this store (in Arlington), earned it. I recently bought a Stressless Chair from the store, which is a fairly expensive item imported from Norway. And worth every penny. That item will sell itself. But Mr. Baker is an excellent salesman, a real professional. He is engaging and low key, a pleasure to do business with. If you need good furniture that reflects your taste and will give you many years of enjoyment, go see HERLAND BAKER. "And tell him Groucho sent you."

Purchased a sofa from the Chantilly location and paid for it in cash at the Falls Church store -- big fan of Hamilton's Sofa & Leather Gallery, their selection, quality and customer service are far superior to the other furniture stores in the area, most of which I visited before discovering Hamilton's. Very satisfied, 11/10 would recommend.

Our order arrived ahead of schedule - yay. the sofas were perfect, but the recliner did not sit level. The delivery company took the chair back and I called Customer Service. The Customer Service was outstanding!! They responded immediately, followed up twice and promptly got our chair repaired. I can't say enough about Hamilton's customer service - it was great!!!!

Bought a couch from them. Arrived stained within minutes reached out to the sales person and was forwarded to some other email and have yet to get resolution. Better customer service elsewhere.

The staff was nice but wouldn't negotiate a couch price. We took a chance on an expensive couch thinking that the quality would be better over time. However, the couch wasn't assembled together from the factory initially. So, we couldn't even use it. Secondly, there was a delay in repairing it (a request for a partial refund was denied too). Finally, the couch isn't of a higher quality/comfort/durability than any other couches we've purchased at IKEA or Ashley.

Best experience! Maria was amazing and helped us a lot! We were looking for a good leather sofa-sleeper for a long time and finally found it at Hamiltons Sofa & Leather! It is made in Italy and 100% leather, great quality, very comfortable and best price! At other stores for the same price you can find only the fabric one, not leather!It was delivered in 2 days after we placed the order, we even didn’t expect for it to be delivered so fast! Delivery guys were very professional! Thank you very much for everything!

***WARNING**** I purchased a sectional sofa with recliner features that was delivered a few months ago. One of the recliner mechanisms has broken. I have now called 3 times to "customer service" to get someone to come to fix the broken mechanism. Each time I call I'm promised someone will call me back to schedule an appointment and no one does. When I called back to "customer service" I asked to speak with the manager and was told that she is the manager and there was no one else to speak with. Now I have an expensive broken sofa and no support from this company. Save your money and your time and go somewhere else.

I had to replace my 18 year old Stressless recliner so I saw the add for discounts of $200-$400 on a new one. I worked with Maria and got a brand new one a few weeks earlier than expected and am enjoying it all over again. Great price, great service and the delivery men were on time, in and out, no problems at all, Highly recommended if your in the market for one.

Customer service has become a bit of a lost art. Online is nice but sometimes you need to see the product, feel the texture, ask questions that are not FAQ, questions that pertain to how the product will work for you, fit in your space and fit in your life. The people at Hamilton's Sofa and Leather gallery get it. They get Customer Service. I came in the store in a state of uncertainty. My rock, my dear husband recently passed away. I downsized and got rid of the older, larger furniture we shared as I moved into a smaller condo. I knew two things. I knew I wanted a particular color and that I wanted a leather recliner sofa and chair. I'd been to other furniture stores and was underwhelmed. I was so fortunate to meet Herland Baker the Falls Church store manager at Hamilton Sofa and Leather Gallery. Herland listened to my story and what I was looking for. He gently asked questions regarding my tastes, the amount of space and looked at a picture on my phone of my floors, which was the only thing in my living room at the time. He explained each brand in the store and had me sit on several pieces. He was so funny! I said that I wanted to have this furniture long term and for it to fit me. Every time I mentioned how this might work for someone else he would gently say, who is this furniture for? And I would say, oh, me! He made sure I saw different samples in different light then most importantly, he left me alone so I could retrace my steps and sit again in the numerous brand of sofas and chairs until I came to a decision. This was right in the midst of the pandemic so I knew with border issues that it would be awhile before I received my furniture so that was not a concern. In the end the furniture did come, was easily delivered and put together and looks perfect. I could not have asked for better customer service than what I received throughout this process. I may never need another sofa and chair again but if I do I will go back to Hamilton. I highly recommend this store! Thank you Herland Baker.
