Steven, the pharmacist gave me the run around multiple times. He doesn’t know how to do a simple task of knowing whether they have a medication in stock or not.

Too many products either out of stock or close date items. Dirty store. The one up the street in 7 corners is nice but some out of stock sale items throughout the store.

This store charged me 2x on the same day at the same time on July 2, 2023. I brought it to their attention, they told me to fill out a form and someone would contact me. Nobody ever contacted me and the charges are still there. In my opinion I have seen alot of greedy activity coming from these Giant food stores since the pandemic and I don't think they respect their customers. Please stay away from these stores as much as possible so we can make them respect us, the shoppers.

I like this store but, regrettably they are always running out of freshly squeezed orange juice. They have not had any for about two weeks. I talked to the produce manager and he told me the juice oranges they are receiving are brown and they must send them back. This sounds like a quality assurance problem that probably originates with the buyer in Landover, Maryland. I hope someone at HQ reads this review and gets this supply chain problem fixed. Thank you.

This Giant is frequently out of fresh bread by 4 pm, sometimes it's not there for more than one day. Produce isn't always fresh and are not well stocked much of the time. The pharmacy isn't helpful and won't make an vaccine appointment for you over the phone. Their website online also doesn't work. Though after the first shot the tech was supposed to make the second appointment she never did and my friend never got the confirmation for the second series. We are not coming back to this pharmacy in the future.

Three separate times this week I purchased spoiled meat from Giant. The first time I thought it was just bad luck and threw it out. The second time I went to the store and was given a refund and a different pack of meat. Well, I get home and this is the THIRD package of meat that I have purchased that is spoiled. I was told the manager would call and I never received a call. I will be contacting the health department and corporate!! Don't risk your life shopping here!!

This is a smallish sized Giant store. As such the selection can be limited. The otherwise marvelous deli counter can run out of items. But it is a Giant grocery store and is well run, clean, friendly. Deli counter staff are exceptionally helpful, offer items to try. (Of course you come back for more. Delicious.) Huge temptation with an in-store Starbucks. Hot cocoa, lemon cake ..... Nice grocery store. Just not our main, heavy use grocery store.

I rarely have an issue with getting my prescriptions filled until I came to this location. I'm not sure if there is a temporary front desk employee, but I found it inappropriate her asking me what I was doing for the day since I asked to pick it up tomorrow. Another thing, I have been in the system since 2016 and she asked for my ID and my insurance card. Knowing that every other pharmacy did not need it, she held onto it assuming I was going to wait. I gave this pharmacy a third chance, yet they disappoint and waste my time perusal. I'm going back to CVS now because I know they wont waste my time and money. :)

Admittedly not in my favorite part of the county, and getting in and out of here, prepare those aspirin in your glovebox. Located perpendicular to the modern Art Deco crap clock, you'll face logistical challenges. That would be pedestrians and drivers not following the law, and Graham Road and Arlington Boulevard being what they are. As far as stores go, this one will meet your grocery needs. Exceeding isn't going to happen, and that's for that, along with the Super Giants carry a lot more choices. This one does have a pretty good meat section, and is among the best in produce. A lot of healthy choices to pick from. Checkout is usually mobbed. It's not due to this being the only grocery store, it's this area is high density for residential zoning. You're going to wait awhile, and the aisles can be quite a delay, especially with social distancing and other Covid quirky actions that are being employed. On a plus note very conscientious, kind employees work here. Prices are rather high, but usually you can do better here than Harris Teeter or Safeway. If in the area I'll go here, but again that's for that purpose only, as grocery shopping will never become a hobby.

Went to fill a simple prescription at the pharmacy. At first the lady told me it was denied because I didn't have insurance (I do indeed have insurance). Then she told me she couldn't fill it because the brand they had in stock was pulled from the market by the FDA. I asked if she could order a different brand. Then she told me all brands of this medication were pulled off the market by the FDA but she wasn't sure so she'd check with her boss tomorrow. I called Wegmans Pharmacy, who verified the medication was freely available. I had Wegmans transfer the prescription from Giant and they filled it without a problem. NEVER AGAIN will I go to Giant.

Major props for the curbside pickup team! I've ordered curbside pick up more than a dozen times during covid. Every single time they have done a great job preparing my order and bringing it out to my car quickly. when they've had to make substitutions they told me what they made while loading the car in case I wanted to return whatever they substituted, which is an additional courtesy. This team has saved me from having to go into the grocery store for a fee of just $3 a trip. Great service and great team! It's very easy to make your order on the website. You can build your order throughout the week by just going onto the giant website and adding things to your cart. When you go back to the website, what you put in your cart previously will still be there. Then when you're ready to check out you can. I found that other grocery stores in the area have pick up times that fill up way in advance. With giant, I can place an order in the morning and pick up same day every time.

The pharmacy manager and the staff are friendly and helpful. This is the best pharmacy I have been to in the Northern Virginia area.

This is a ghetto Giant Food when compared to other Giant Food Stores. Today's issue was no small carts.
