I met someone here while waiting for food and she referred to Filipino food as the "soul food" of Southeast Asia-- i agree! Everything is so hearty and savory that it feels like I'm just eating good home cooking every time I go. My favorites are the lechon paksiw (which is lechon kawali that's been stewed with soy, vinegar, and spices), beef steak, any adobo, pork skewers, turon, and the ukoy. I usually spend $40-50 on food when I go bc there are so many things I want to try, and then I legit have enough food for at least two meals per person. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is bc a lot of the entrees are excluded from combo options. I do appreciate that they have food well into the afternoon, though. In my experience, a lot of mom-and-pop Filipino restaurants sell out of food by 1 pm so you're SOL if you go after that time. As long as I live in the area, I'll be a regular!

Great Selection Grocery section is well stocked with genuine, Filipino pantry items. Deli section in back offers a good assortment of hot dishes at reasonable prices and service is attentive. Nice variety of baked goods. The ube cake is delish.

Great Pinoy grocery and eatery. Nice and clean and tidy. You can generally find what you want. They have a good selection of snacks! Sarap!

I came here for lunch and the food was pretty good! The caldereta is usually a hit or miss because of its dryness. Today was not as dry and almost tender! i got a large entree order of it and 1/2 of it was just vegetables unfortunately. I wish they gave more rice for the combo meals, even if it's in a separate container. Panda Express gives more rice than this. I don't recommend the Diniguan. It's mostly filled with pig skin, rather than meat. It seems like they cheap out. If you like skin, then it's perfect. Overall I enjoyed my food still. Seems a little expensive for the amount of meat they give though.

Very very disappointing! I spent almost $60 today for our to go lunch and the food all taste like it was done or was a left over food yesterday. I specifically ask the lady if the Lumpia was crispy and she said it was, my son ended up not eating it because it taste stale and soft. I ordered sisig too which is so dry and my toungue got itchy. I suspected it was stale too. The only edible food I had on this batch was the futon which is just a couple dollars. We just move in the area and I am not planning to visit this store at all and will scour other Pinoy Store in the area

Just bought this food today. Stew pata tim. Upsetting to see why the serving is like this. Spoke to the lady about the serving, "Ate it looks like only bones on the food." She responded back "pata is always bones" For all of this reason, i am aware that its a bone kind of food, how upsetting is the serving it self. It looks like i bought this combo/duet menu for just the sabaw itself. This kind of service is not good. Not even atleast to add a little meat on it. And not even bothered even if i mentioned about the food itself.

I love this supermarket. Its hard for me to get filipino groceries and cooked food in west Texas. This is my primary food shopping store when I come to the DC area for work.

I took my 76 year old Filipino mom to this store. She absolutely loved it and the food that was being served. Everyone was friendly and polite. I personally don’t mind the prices. This is a small business and you should support your Filipino community. We do live in the DMV area and prices are normally higher here. We are lucky to have a business that sells cultural foods. I would look at the labels to make sure the food you buy is not expired, like in any grocery store. Nothing I bought was expired. Parking can be an issue but I won’t take off any stars for that. My mom even ate her leftovers the next day. You can make the decision for yourself. Give it a try. She thoroughly enjoyed it.

They do have a variety of filipino snacks, condiments, personal hygiene items, frozen goodies and veggies. But i feel like it's not updated like the corned beef selections they have, hopias and other canned goods, still the old school types. It could be better. Ate's and Kuya's were all the time happy and greeted us while shopping. We also ate at the in house restaurant and there is a lot of homecook meals you can choose from. I dunno but I had the dinuguan but it's salty to my taste. The kalamay and beef empanadas are good tho.I would happily go back and try more stuff (",)

Love stopping in, shopping for grocery items, and picking up hot sinagang, curry, and pancit. Everyone is super sweet. There is even a nice clean cafe area to eat freshly made Filipino breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

We were hopeful and hungry when we stopped by to browse the market & get some food at the turo turo. Truth be told, we are spoiled from SoCal, having some of the best international cuisines so easy accessible. And it seems Virginia is rather limited with filipino foods. The market is clean and had a variety of commodities to offer. We purchased a couple of sweet snacks. The turo turo restaurant at the back looked promising. We were greeted right away. We purchased dinuguan, sinigang, palabok, caldereta and pichi pichi. Unfortunately the food was very bland. The sinigang wasn't tart, the dinuguan was very metallic-y, the caldereta was overly sweet, the palabok was ok, and the pichi pichi was a mushy mess. Sadly our meal was a complete disappointment. We are happy to support local businesses and glad that the snacks we bought from the market side were tasty.

BEST FILIPINO FOOD IN VIRGINIA! This place seems more authentic than others! Came here with mom and we ordered almost everything. It's a little hole in the wall but the food is impeccable. Only thing I don't like is how I feel like I get a little discriminated against since I'm not full Filipino. Anyway...I come here all the time since it's walking distance to my house. This time mom and I ordered, the lechon kawali , loganisa sigsig, pinackbit! The garlic fried rice is so goooooood! The lechon stole the show and was fried hard with the vinegar and peppers!!! Amazing experience as always!

I love coming here, because it reminds me of my own family. The store inventory has all of your basic necessities for cooking and a lot of Filipino imported items. The food bar has everything you can think of and personally I think it’s the best Filipino food in the area.

Don’t get their rice cakes, they’re spoiled. It happened to me twice, it’s bad!
