I am so glad to have found this Garden and Plant store in Falls Church! This store has everything you need to have a successful GreenThumb. They just stocked up the Falls Church store and now have a Beltsville and Manassas store now open. The staff is knowledgeable and employees are welcoming and take the time to talk to you and answer questions. Their variety of seeds, clone supplies, soils and nutrients are impressive. Very convenient location Broad Street West End Plaza shops, Falls Church.

This is hands down the best store you can go to for your gardening and hydroponic needs. The owner, Joe, has supplied me with high quality soil for over a year.He has also been very supportive of my small farm business by providing competitive prices and top notch products. If you’re looking to improve your garden, definitely shop here.

Very conveniently located. Always stocked with supplies and I love that they have houseplants as well. Staff is very knowledgable, friendly and helpful. I'm trying to go tomatoes and vegetables this spring and wanted to get seeds, soil and nutrients. Joe was able to advise me well. I'm going to stop by in about a month to get further advise on how to increase my produce yield and what adjustments to make.

Living with a disability is hard enough, BUT growing weed with a disability one handed is even harder. Hello my names Dustin and I have Cerebral Palsy and I grow one handed. I’ve been growing for over 4 years now. Learning had to grow, has been very therapeutic and inspirational to me not just that, but I had a desire to teach other disabled people and veterans how to grow adaptively and put the first time I was able to do a full plant pretty much on my own on my current grow. I am many many challenges but I never give up. I was in the big challenge the other day because I needed some physical help that I really couldn’t do. I don’t really know any other growers and community where I live so I contacted Joe from Falls Church hydroponics. He was so kind and so caring enough to come over and assist he heard about my story a little bit from what I told him, but he still came over to help. He spent almost the whole afternoon and half a morning, putting together some equipment, and he even went back to his shop to get some more stuff that we need to have, he was so impressed with what I was doing. He turned into a new friend and really a genuine person must be honest the growing world is not for people with disabilities. It is not built and design for people in wheelchairs, but I have accommodated myself to do such so I can be independent and make my own medication. I desperately need my medication because of my disability and Joe was nice enough to come over and help me fix my tent and other problems that I have he even offered to tell me to text him anytime if I have any problems or concerns if it wasn’t for Joe would still be Atack and I would not be able to get the best performance possible with or without this ability, people should always try their best, but especially with people disabilities. People should try to overcome and try their best to prove to themselves that they can do it, and most of all the prove the public. That living with disabilities, you can do anything as long as you have a desire motivation, and a will to overcome and achieve

In two words: EXCELLENT SERVICE.Joe knows how to listen first and in a very professional manner provide the information and service required. He explained to me step by step how to setup and maintain my Hydroponic system. He answered all my questions in plain English without any rush taking the time to make sure I understood.I highly recommend this shop.

I’ve been doing hydroponics for about a year doing quite well, but I need a little bit more equipment in a little bit more knowledge. I highly recommend Falls Church hydroponics. I just visited there today looking to upgrade looking to learn how to start seeds and Joe spent more than half an hour with me giving me some advice pointing out things I need things I don’t need, so helpful!

I would want to write a positive review. But unfortunately, I cant. ill try to keep this short and sweet.Avoid this place if you can. between being massively overcharged for items that you would think would be cheaper supporting your local business, are not. i've shopped this store on multiple occasions, and although the clerk/owner is nice enough, that doesn't make up for being taken at the register, or misled into buying products you do not need and are only doing so because you are a new grower on his recommendation. I went in to look at some Rum Runner Novelty Seeds he has, only to find out he was charging $85 and a simple online search of the same showed me it selling directly from the website for $35! Gardening is an expensive hobby/ way of food cultivation as it is with a healthy learning curve, and the last thing you need it to drain your wallet any faster. you can find better prices almost anywhere online even with shipping. unless you have a RIGHT NOW need, stick to online or Nova Hydro, the price is semi reflective, but the service level is unmatched.
