Worst CVS I have ever encountered. Worst service in the pharmacy and front counter. I should abandoned this branch long time ago. I started to blame myself, for not doing it right away.

The pharmacies run by CVS are inefficient and are disturbing. I have to go repeatedly to the cvs pharmacy at 3401 Charles street, VA. To pick my refill which is very crucial for my sickness. They think I requested for a refill of sodas. Terrible decision to pick CVS as your pharmacy.. Frustrating.

I do not review things regularly, but I feel the need to say something about this pharmacy. I recently switched to this location because it was easier to get to than the other one. I will be switching back. It is impossible to get anyone on the phone. I was informed that my pills were out of stock, and an order was placed. Fine, it happens. But I wanted more details about how long this would take, other than their standard "couple of business days." Needed a better time frame since I was low on pills. If the order is going to take too long, I want them to transfer it to either of the other 2 locations near by! Called, and went through a ridiculously long menu, only to be told I had to leave a message. My call would be returned within "an hour". 24 hours later, nothing. Called again today, tried a different way to get a human, still had to leave a voicemail. AND still no response from them. I can't just stop taking my medications, and now I will run out tomorrow. So I will have to ask my doctor to scramble and send another prescription to a different CVS, without knowing if they have it in stock. All because they can't answer the phone! It's disgraceful that CVS Pharmacy has such a monopoly with insurance companies. They just keep going downhill with no incentive to be better. Also, invest in better programmers! The app and website are awful.

I don’t like CVS. They have terrible service and often out of stock and always understaffed with limited pharmacy hours. Always long lines. If they didn’t have a monopoly on Rx with my insurance, I would not go there. On 8/16 at 10 AM I went for the second time this week about Rx that my son needs which has been out of stock for over a week. When I arrive I am told it’s not there despite receiving notification it was ready. Through the confusion we learned it was filled at a different store. One I’ve never been to. Why???!!! The attitude of the pharmacy clerk was mean and unhelpful. She rudely said “ you’re not the only one who uses this medication “ and when I asked about this other store she rudely replied “you can just Google it”. Her attitude was unacceptable. I hate this store. CVS gets away with this because so many people cannot go anywhere else. If they had any real competition they would do a better job.

Generally store is clean and neat, but the Pharmacy is permanently understaffed, makes a lot of mistakes, takes forever for them to order medicine and they are supposed to text you when your Rx is in (if you opt for that, and I have) but never get the text saying it is in. I just show up, hoping for the best. They either need more staff or staff that's better qualified/more competent to work there. Turn over is astronomical in both store and pharmacy. Except for the Lead Pharmacist and the Lead Manager, it's a miracle if the employee is still there after one year. If you call the store you will get disconnected after enduring a long electonic menu that half the time mafunctions. What happed to CVS? It used to be the Rolls Royce of drug stores. Not any more . . . .

I went to the CVS nearMy house in falls church and I forgot a day ago a bag with some items, even I called and they told me it was there. The person in charge was rude and not helpful at all. He walked away when I was talking to him and when I asked for his name he turned Abd didn't even respond to me. I have zero tolerance for these employees who think they are never going to be caught and punished for providing bad customer service. This is sad and I don't want to deal with person ever again.

They told me they had my meds so I drove 45 minutes to come pick them up. Guess what they do not have my meds but said they are sorry.
