Cody was very straightforward in explaining the work my car needed in terms of urgency and walked me through the recommended timeline for getting the less urgent work done. I never felt he was trying to upsell me. Work was completed on the timeline promised. Quotes were very competitive or better than other local garages. I'll bring my car back in the future.

I always get fantastic service from the experts at Ben Nielsen's Skyline Automotive! Greg is one of the world's experts on classic musclecars, and has excelled with complex repairs on my 1966 Dodge Charger! This week Greg installed new leaf springs and shock, giving my 58 year old car’s suspension a much needed restoration! Thanks!

Good service the couple of times I’ve been able to get service but two times when they had no time for a walk-in oil change, the people at the front desk seem annoyed that I’ve come in to ask and don’t *just* know that they’re jam-packed. All good, won’t ask again.

I chose this shop because of the reviews and because they’re experienced with German cars. I originally dropped my car off here for damage caused by a raccoon. The EPC light had come on, which I made them aware of. I assumed it was related to the damage the raccoon had done, there was a lot of debris that i believed could have caused intake issues. While they had my car, they found some other work that needed to be done, so I had them take care of it. It was a $2200 repair. At that time, I was very pleased with the work that they did! A couple weeks later, I damaged a tire on my car and called Skyline to do the replacement. My car also needed an oil change, so I had them take care of that as well. Again, I was very happy when I picked my car up. Two days after I picked up my car, the oil light came on. I thought it was a fluke, but according to my car’s system, it actually needed oil. At that point, I was worried that the tech didn’t put my car back together correctly and the oil leaked out. ***Side note: When they put new tires on my car, they left the spare in the hatch rather than putting it back in its proper place. This should have been a clue that they weren’t thorough, but I let it slide. I called Cody, he told me to bring my car back so that someone could put the spare away. They took care of it without a problem***
Anyway, I called Cody again, this time to let him know about the oil light. He told me to bring my car in so they could check it out. I was there for about 30 minutes, they did whatever they thought needed to be done (I’m not sure what was done because no documentation was provided). Everything seemed fine until the oil light came on AGAIN two days later. I thought it had to be a bad sensor, but when I went out to check the oil level, I noticed oil dripping pretty heavily and the EPC light came on again. I called Cody again to let him know about the oil light and he told me I could bring my car back in, but now I’m not sure I want to return to Skyline. It could be coincidental that this all happened after the oil change, but I highly doubt it. Now I’m afraid I’ll end up with even more expensive repairs because they’re not as experienced as I thought they were. Unfortunately for me I noticed several reviews stating that their techs aren’t thorough and only partially completed work they were paid for. I wish I had delved deeper to read some of the older reviews before choosing them to repair my car.?
