The atmosphere makes it. The employees are super friendly and helpful. The prices are great. The popcorn is TOO good (I always eat too much lol). I go here every time I can with my family to support these good folks.

They now own/run both the Radford Theater and Fairlawn Theater. I know the owner and really respect that he is keeping the theaters in our area open. The prices are very reasonable on tickets and refreshments, staff are friendly and helpful and the establishments are maintained and clean. I highly recommend this establishment!!

This wonderful movie theater is where my family and I always go. The price is very affordable. The concessions are always fresh. And the employees (and owner) are always so welcoming and friendly. Recommend Scarrette's 10/10!

A nice place to watch relatively new releases at reasonable prices. Workers are always pleasant. The seats etc are a bit older but it's convenient to Radford, fun, and has not been too crowded.

The theater is old and could use nicer seats and upgrades in the bathroom. It's always clean though and reasonably priced.

Great value have been taking my family here for years this is truly a gem of the New River Valley has a charm of being a small business and not a mega theater complex I really rather support this local establishment than pay a hefty price to go to the mega cinema at Scarrettes’s your treated like family and your patronage is appreciated

This is a small movie theater tucked away in the corner of the shopping center. Between Kroger and Rural King is the front window to purchase tickets for either of two current showings. The price of the tickets makes this theater even more sensible for families. The seats have seen better days, but if you're there to watch movies, why pay for recliners. They get a decent selection of regular movies too, and plenty of parking close to the entrance. You can even have a little money to buy some popcorn or other concessions. After the movie, you can stop by McDonald's for a coffee and some ice cream before you leave the shopping center. There are also enough showings for each movie that you can probably pick a time when may have the whole theater to yourself, or at least close. Good video projection and sound make the adventure movies a fun time also. We like to see 5 to 10 movies per year if that many interest us. The past year we saw at least 10 movies and even a couple of them with less than 5 people in the theater. I think that better signage at the street would make the location better known.

I can bring my grand kids here without breaking the bank. Good prices on their tickets, and the popcorn is usually fresh. We visit at least 3 times months with the grand kids. I would recommend this theater for the ticket prices and food alone, but also first rate movies.
