My work place had food catered over Thanksgiving and the food that was served up was beyond exceptional. Their smoked pulled pork was fantastic, too.

Hogback Mtn BBQ had great service, friendly staff, and above all, DELICIOUS food! We heard good things but booked them for our wedding without ever getting a chance to taste, so we were a bit nervous. The food blew us away, and maybe is the best BBQ I've ever had. We got the brisket and pulled pork, and both were tender without an ounce of dryness. The mac and cheese, corn bread, and collard greens were all fantastic, and my only regret was how quickly I was full.We brought the BBQ leftovers home (they were generous portions!) and ate BBQ for four meals that week and still loved it each time.They handled all the dietary accommodations we had, from providing a vegetarian main for those who needed it, suggesting the cole slaw be non-dairy and oil-based (delicious!) to accommodate lactose intolerance, and assured us the meat was gluten free. They were easy to communicate with them - if you're anywhere in the western VA area, don't hesitate to work with them!

Delicious Food and Exceptional Service.We ordered BBQ Pork and Slider Buns, BBQ Chicken, Potato Salad, and Baked Beans for 30 adults. Ruben was unbelievably helpful throughout the entire process. He made everything so easy and gave us a number of suggestions which worked out perfectly. Ruben and his wife personally delivered the food and helped set it up for us. they could not have been more helpful and friendly.The food itself exceeded all of our expectations. It was all delicious and the quantities were more than enough. All of our guests raved about the food.We strongly recommend Hogback Mountain BBQ. You will not regret it. Their food is delicious and their support is exceptional.

Stop right there if your looking at reviews for Hogback Mtn BBQ to caterer your event. Ruben was the best between answering questions a year and a half out from our wedding date ( July 31st) till the day his wife delivered the food during our dances ( which you couldn't even tell). Ruben has the BEST pricing on BBQ. I wasn't sure if the chicken would be eaten since we had BBQ but the chicken was a hit too. If you like mashed potatoes and macaroni n cheese that is a must get. You will NOT regret it!! Thank you Ruben!!

We ordered a drop off meal for a party of 45 people. The food was hot, he waited for us to set up our chaffing trays, the food was amazing. We ordered, pulled pork, brisket and turkey. The sides were twice baked potatoes, green beans, baked beans and apples. For dessert banana pudding was very tasty. There was plenty of great food for everyone.

Fun & delicious! Hogback Mountain did a wonderful job catering our outdoor wedding event in Waynesboro. It was a very entertaining and unusual experience smoking a whole hog on our special day, we loved it. The staff was courteous and professional, the entire neighborhood smelled of freshly smoked pit BBQ. Highly recommend.

It was a very entertaining and unusual experience smoking a whole hog on our special day, we loved it. I have always liked their BBQ, but we ordered smoked turkey with the fixings for Thanksgiving. Wow it was absolutely delicious. The price for all the food was great and the quality was amazing!

I had the pleasure of working with Ruben and his amazing team in catering of my daughter's wedding in June at Big Springs Farm. Ruben was extremely responsive and very helpful to me during the planning of the wedding. He was very professional the entire time and made me feel at ease and confident that he would do a great job at the wedding. He did a great job indeed and we received wonderful feedback from our guests regarding the quality and preparation of the food! Everything was perfect! I have to share the bartenders were fun too! All in all, I could not be more pleased with my decision to use Hogback Mtn BBQ for my daughter's wedding! They were AWESOME!!

Ruben is kind and considerate when helping the couple create their perfect menu. The guest experience is their primary concern when having events and the farm and it shows!!

My (now) husband and I were really interested in BBQ for our wedding, since we were having an outdoor wedding and a sort of laid-back vibe. Hogback was absolutely perfect. I can't tell you how delicious their food is. Most brides complain about not being able to eat during their wedding - not me! I made it my mission to sit and enjoy the food :) All the staff was so helpful and kind, and our guests couldn't stop raving about how good the food was. Thank you to everyone at Hogback!
