Besides having a VERY difficult introductory conversation with the person who answered the phone, I was told I could not receive ANY information about the summer program as I am not a parent. I am legally allowed to answer for the parent and explained that twice... I was still refused. Not worth the hassle.
Edirlt after rezone: The girl on the phone refused to take my information so that is why you don't have it.

Winwood has been so great to our family! Both of my children had never been in daycare before attending Winwood. The staff and directors have welcomed our family in with open arms. My children love their teachers and both Katy and Jenn. Winwood has been very accommodating when it came to my children’s allergies and keeping their center a very safe and loving environment for all the children and staff that are at this location. My oldest child is autistic and the staff at winwood have been great with my son and have helped him feel more comfortable and included in all activities inside and outside of the classroom. Thank you Winwood!

I can say many amazing things about Winwood Fairfax, but recently they have been my saving grace. Ms. Katy has been gracious enough to send me one of her amazing staff members to keep my school from drowning. Ms. Nikki is so sweet, calm, friendly, and fit in great with our team here! When she's here she comes in with a smile and is ready to take on the day! Our kiddos really enjoy each day with her. Thank you, thank you for all your help!!!

My daughter attended Winwood for a little over year and it was a an excellent experience.Principal Katy and her assistant Jenn are phenomenal at running the school, always smiling, professional, and understanding. They were always available to chat about how our girl was doing and to address any issues or concerns. One thing you'd notice right away when entering the school is how well kept and tidy it is compared to other preschools, which is another sign of how well it's being administered. The school also offer some online accessible video feed of the classrooms your child is enrolled in + playground. The website feels pretty outdated, but it does the job well of checking on how our daughter was doing, specially on her first couple of weeks of enrollment. Our daughter spent most of her time there at the 3 year-olds class with Ms. Suttata. Can't express how grateful we are for all the work, love, and care Ms. Suttata has showed our little girl. She was always available and reached out many times on her own to give us updates on how our daughter was doing. We have seen quite a jump in her number sense and phonics skills, which is due in large part to Ms. Suttata's and her assistants' hard work and dedication.Highly recommend Winwood.

This place has been great! We have been here just over a year now. I have two children enrolled here; 3 and 6. I have to be to work early (even earlier than they open, but I make it work). They take and pick up my oldest to and from school each day which allows me to pick up my kids in one location. The important stuff:The staff are attentive to my children and their needs. My kid reacts when their teacher is absent because they adore them. The staff communicates with us daily.I feel like what I pay is justified because of the convenience and service. Thanks Katy and Jenn for the support.

Our experience with Winwood Children's Center has been nothing short of outstanding. As first time parents we were hesitant for our child to attend any childcare service or daycare but the staff at Winwood are such professionals that my wife and I are now actively dreading the day we have to move away. From our perspective the thing that sets Winwood apart from the other day care facilities in the area are 1) The fact that the staff are very experienced and are very professional and loving towards the children and 2) The staff create a unique community / family atmosphere within the facility where the staff and parents are positive and supporting each other no matter what is going on when you walk in.The director, assistant director greet us and our child by name every day when we walk in the door and the staff within the infant room always ask how our child is doing and if there is anything special they need to do for the day. That kind of care gives us the feeling our child is professionally and lovingly cared for while we are at work. Also of note for military families, this facility understands the requirements of the Child Care Aware subsidy program so it's one less headache you have to deal with if you choose to enroll your child here.

I have had the pleasure of having my 3 girls at Winwood. We started here over 4 years ago and it was one of the best decisions I could have made. The staff has been so accommodating and super nice to myself and my girls. My girls have been in each classroom from infant to Jr. K and it's been so exciting to see them move to the next classroom and to see what they will learn next. To watch them grow at Winwood has made this experience for us amazing. They have helped in so many ways prepare my girls for Kindergarten!

We’ve been at Winwood since my son was 9 months old; he’s now 4 years old. We have no complaints and love everything about it. The teachers are so caring, attentive, and skilled which were the most important aspects when finding a daycare that worked for us. My daughter will be starting here soon too. Couldn’t recommend them enough

We have had a wonderful experience at Winwood Fairfax! We have been going here for 5 years now and have been so happy with all of the classrooms - from infancy all the way through pre-k. My kids both love going to school and are always excited to see their teachers and friends - which really says a lot given their young ages (ages 1 and 5). The staff is absolutely wonderful to the point where we consider them an extension of our family. Additionally, when my daughter went to her kindergarten screening this past spring, the vice principal asked what preschool she went to since she was very impressed with her counting and reading skills. When I said Winwood, her response was "Oh she's a Winwood kid!" The Winwood reputation and the skill sets that are developed from their early childhood education program are well known through out the Northern Virginia area schools - both private and public. I would highly recommend Winwood Fairfax for children of all ages!

My son has only ever been cared for by family, so putting him in a center was hard for us both. I did a lot of research and landed on what ended up being terrible. I then found Windwood and he's been loving It. He's engaged through the day and just walks into class most days. I love that they have cameras in the classrooms and playground that have multiple Angles. The classrooms are a good size and the teachers are super kind. They serve actual healthy food. My favorite thing is my son walks around like it's his house. Sounds kind of weird but the homey atmosphere really makes the school special. If your considering a center this is the one.

I had the pleasure of being hired at Winwood Fairfax 15 years ago and I am so thankful for the experience that I had and continue to have because of Winwood Fairfax. The director Katy is still always available whenever I need, and I am grateful that we are still co-workers after 15 years. Some of teachers I taught with over a decade ago, are still there! If you are looking for a wonderful preschool with long term and caring staff, you have found a home away from home at Winwood.

Without hesitation, I would recommend to any parent looking for care for their child. Had both of my kids enrolled here (youngest since she was in the infant room). Staff really care about the children and go above and beyond. They were able to accommodate my son during virtual learning this year, which was a great help to me. Recently had to move out of state and my daughter still talks about all her friends and teachers!

GREAT daycare if you have a neurotypical child. Staff are great, especially the Principal Katy and Vice Principal. Katy was just so good at keeping parents updated about illnesses, closures, and responding timely to my questions. This was especially important when the pandemic hit. Honestly I have yet to meet another principal who worked as hard to keep parents informed, so major kudos to Katy. They also utilize an app where teachers update you about diaper changes, how much they ate, and shared pictures and videos. Even better, they have a live feed (sorta) that you can watch. Their low ratios (pre-Covid) were great. Meals were fine. My only complaint is that one of my kids is not neurotypical and there were plenty of times where I observed that she was left alone to play or cry by herself. I get that kids need to learn independence, and the teachers were probably doing their best. However in retrospect, it was just not a good fit for my child and I should have taken her out sooner. With that said, I have no doubt that if your child is neurotypical, you will have a perfectly fine experience here. My other child is considered neurotypical and she did fine here. (Please note that my experience here occurred more than a year ago-- we moved and no longer attend here so I can't speak to current circumstances).
