It really does seem like they want to find the ideal sofa for you. They want to know how you sit and how it will integrate in your space. Even with the small amount of space I have John was able to find the perfect sofa to fit my needs. The process was pleasant (there was no pressure at any time) and the pricing was fair. WILLEM SMITH isn’t inexpensive but in their market I feel like they’re a very good value. And I love my sofa.

We fell in love with the Polleras Club Chairs while overseas several years ago. I vowed to track them down for my own home one day. They are superb. Timeless. Tasteful. And provide support and comfort. And John is exceptionally pleasant to work with which made the process easy and smooth.

After suffering through so many horrible IKEA and Wayfair couches that did not stand up to 2 young kids. We decided that it was time to invest in some grown up pieces. Having been in the midst of a full renovation of our home we stumbled on Willem Smith through a simple Google search. Having John be the design / build professional makes all the difference in the comfort of seating and durability. He has his work in the pentagon as well as Peet's coffee. When you are loving how comfortable and supported you are feeling sitting in his showroom ask him about how the Dali Lama enjoyed his designs. Quality life long hand down to your kids kind of set pieces do not come cheap in this case you get what you pay for.

Willem Smith is a fabulous source for furniture and other home decor. We were introduced through our interior designer and could not have been more pleased with the personal service and ability to customize the selections for our living room. The quality is exceptional and given pricing a great value. We will certainly be customers again in the future.

I bought a couch and chairs from John. Both are high quality and super comfortable. However, it's really the customer service that was above and beyond. John was patient and helpful when I changed my mind about the fabric and then stayed on top of the production company and all of the details. He is adept at working with designers and customers alike and seems to have a infinite well of patience! He delivered the furntire and then helped my husband fix a caster on a totally different piece of furniture! Great selection and customer service - highly recommend!

First and foremost, I want to state that John is a fine example of how to treat people and provide outstanding customer service. I purchased a chair and sofa from John over the winter, and after several months of use, I can confidently say that I am very satisfied with my purchase. John patiently worked with me to provide a solution to ensure that my sofa height was ideal for my seating posture and body height. I’ll easily stop back in for any future purchases, as well as recommending him to friends and family.

This is a great store that offers very personalized service. They have great furniture designs, they are excellent at communicating fabrication timelines and updates, and I couldn't be more pleased with our dining room table and chairs.

My husband and I stumbled into Willem Smith FurnitureWorks quite by accident. We were in the process of building a house in NC and were trying to collect ideas for new sofas and chairs. John and his staff were very knowledgeable and extremely easy to work with. We had a few tables we planned to move down with us. John took that into account as we talked about fabrics and finishes for the new sofas and chairs. Our dream became a reality!! Willem Smith goes above and beyond to provide an excellent customer experience, which is rare to find these days. In addition to providing a large selection of high-quality options for any type/size of home, they go above and beyond to provide each customer with outstanding personalized service throughout the entire selection, purchase, and delivery process. In my case, we could select a smart design that maximized seating without overwhelming a smaller-scale space. Willem Smith also went the extra mile to make special accommodations to help expedite delivery during national supply chain delays. I highly recommend them.
