Consistently poor customer service over a few years - rude employees and inefficient pharmacy. Prescriptions are often not ready after text is received indicating that they are, staff is not helpful when attempting to transfer or change a prescription, etc.. Response to an in person complaint was apathetic. Choose a different Walgreens

Shannon and Zafor:I want to compliment Shannon for their patient help as I stumbled through making my first ever photo album which was to be a gift for my adult children for Christmas! I had absolutely no idea how to even start, much less what to do. Shannon was so helpful and encouraging and spent so much time with me while managing to take care of other customers at the same time. I never felt judged or hurried, only supported and encouraged by them.Zafor (I hope I have spelled his name correctly) was also extremely patient and helpful a few days later as I tried to make a different book. I was in there so long, it was approaching closing time, but he worked with me and went above and beyond in helping me get the correct pictures uploaded from different sources.Though it is about 1 1/2 months now after their help, I felt it was extremely important to let it be known how personable and helpful they both were and that they delivered outstanding customer service.

I had a great experience at Walgreens recently thanks to Fatemeh. She was so helpful and friendly, and she went above and beyond to make sure I found what I was looking for. I will definitely be back to this Walgreens again!

I love going to this Walgreens the staff is very friendly especially Fatemeh she is in the beauty area she is always friendly and looks for a way to make you as a customer happy with her help

This is my second Walgreens to use in Fairfax and they are equally bad. By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The average hold time on phone calls is over 30 minutes and that’s after getting disconnected or hung up on several times. Going in is usually a nightmare. You better plan for at least a 30 minute wait and have had several that were over 2 hours. They were supposed to be about 20 min to fill. Ive even been lied to about why some weren’t done. I don’t blame the employees I feel they are doing the best they can. I blame the company for not making sure we the customer have enough help at the locations that need it. There closer stores to me I’ve just always loved Walgreens. I’m going somewhere closer and hopefully better.

My doctor called in a prescription at 3:15. When I arrived at Walgreens at 5:20 they hadn't filled it and asked me to wait.

I usually go to the Walgreens at Maine street , Fairfax, Virginia to see my favorite person Miss Fatemeh at beauty department. She always helps me to find my skin care products . She introduced me some products that helped with my pigments .She keeps up with the latest products in the market .I love her consultation. I m very comfortable and hassle free and making it a very warm professional experience...

We bring our daughter here for OTC shots and the pharmacy tech and person administering the shots are incredible! We started last year with our COVID vaccines and came back for our flu shots recently and this is the only place our five yea fold wants to get shots! She can sometimes have a hard time getting ready for shots but then they administer them so quickly and patiently she actually doesn't cry from the injection (she did last time need some encouraging). Sure there can be a bit of a wait (even with an appointment online) but I'm sure like everywhere else they're understaffed as I see a constant stream of people there to pick up meds or call in about medications. There's no where else we'll go for shots!!

Severely understaffed, not enough help for the workers. Walgreens needs to do better as a company and help their overworked staff.

If you need your medications and found out that the Fairfax Walgreens is participating in the CVS+Walgreens Rx strike, go to the Walgreens on Nutley St (near the corner of Lee Hwy) instead - their pharmacy is open and you can transfer your meds there.

i just had the worst experience at the Pharmacy here. I always dread going to this Pharmacy because there is always a line that just takes way too long but they now have a monopoly since the CVS closed near them. It took me 20 minutes to get to the front. I was asked about a bunch of questions that the employee was typing away in the system. I asked why she needed all this info and she said I did not have a profile which made no sense since I have been there before. After another 10 minutes of this she finally told me the prescription was not ready. It was 2:00 and it had been called in at 10:30! No apologies just a blank stare telling me I needed to wait another 10 minutes. I will drive to CVS that is further away from now on. This is not a Third World Country but sure felt like it here!

Ordered over the counter medication today ( July 26) online. They gave me the medicine that is expired on 7/23. If a medicine is about to expire in 3 days, you must not deliver it to people who need it for more than 5 days.

Awful customer service is not a good place to take passport photo, or pick up. they always says “system is down” . They can’t help you when you ask for something.
