Zero stars if possible!!This is the worse place to bring your equipment for service or repair.
I have my machine here for 7 months!!
I checked with them regularly and every time is “it will be ready next week” but when next week come, “they receive wrong part for it” and like that ,week after week for 7 months same excuse!!!
I don’t usually like to leave review , but from this you can understand frustration !!!!

They have had my blower for 3 months can't figure out what's wrong with it. Have pretty much given up on it. Wouldn't even call to tell me they couldn't figure it out I had to call to figure out they gave up. It's under warranty they won't fix it. I won't be buying any more equipment from them

First went in and the door sign said open, online it said open but no one was there. Called in and asked about a mower that they sell. Passed around through three people and no one could answer the question. Went with another dealer

I called to see if they change tires, they said no problem, 22 per tire and gave me a total price with tax. I then took my tires off of my tractor, brought them in along with the new tires, and left them there. The next day I called to see when I can pick them up only to be met with a very annoyed tone and told that it’s their policy to not change tires that aren’t purchased there and I’ll have to come pick them up. I asked for a exception this time bc I was told to bring them in and that they did change tires. The exchange was that they couldn’t say whether or not someone told me that (calling me a liar) and that they had customers in front of them (that were more important) and to come pick up my tires before hanging up on me. Yeah it makes sense that I jacked up my mower, took the tires off, loaded them up, and drove 40 min round trip to drop them off without confirming that they offered the service. I then drive another 40 minutes to and fro to pick them up, only to find out the tires aren’t where I’d left them. Then a third trip 40 min to and fro the next day. I have been a customer for years, purchased a mower, backpack blower, etc. Change the tires next time and honor your word. This is the last interaction I will ever have with them.

Stay away. Worst customer service of any company I have tried to use. And..they do not care about it. No response to phone calls. No response to a repair order for three months. If you're not a contractor, they will not want your business. Person answering the phones needs customer service training in the worst way. Go elsewhere.

Poorly trained employees and managers. Mower sat in their shop for 8 weeks and nothing was done to it. I highly discourage anyone from giving these clowns a try.

I am not sure exactly what rating to give them as I am only reviewing thier customer service and repair. I dropped my backpack blower last year at the end of December 2023. I expected since the time of year work may be a bit slow and since I was not using the blower for the winter it was not an immediate concern. I completely forgot about it until my son reminds me about it and I call them 2 months after wards to inquire (Feb 2024). It was ready t pick up. I went there and explained to Mr. Medoza that they have lost a customer as I was never notified at all and asked to speak to the manager. He said the person;s name is Dave and he is at the Fairfax location. This was the Springfield location. I paid the rest of my balance and left. In the future I will be taking my blower to a different Stihl dealer. They really dropped the ball on this. Who knows if they ever would notify and call me if I haven't inquired on my own. Unfortunately, they lost a customer.

I have been purchasing equipment at Virginia Outdoor Power for over a decade now. They have great customer service and they usually have everything in stock. The only downfall is I feel like the prices are a little bit too much. I have since found other places to shop that are a lot more competitive.

Very unreliable place I call for a chain 20 with 76 T and they confirm they have it i spend my time go there and they say they have 20 with 72 or 78 t waste my time and gas for nothing

Good stuff. Helped me get a leaf blower that was priced right and gave me insight on how to extend warranty by using synthetic fuel additive. Easy to walk in and browse without feeling pressured. Also very fluent in Spanish. Will definitely be back when it's time for maintenance
