Abigail helped me to solve a tricky problem with my new windows, suggesting these shades that could be installed with an inside mount in a very tight space. I had spent many hours trying to figure out how to do this, but one call to The Shade Store, and I had the answer. Everything about my experience with The Shade Store was a pleasure, from my initial inquiry, to visiting the showroom, to scheduling, to measurement and installation. Everyone I worked with was professional and the end result exceeded my expectations. The price was in-line with all other estimates, and the product higher quality. I will be coming back to The Shade Store for all my future window treatment needs.

Had an excellent experience with The Shade Store in Merrifield/Fairfax/Mosaic, Virginia. Worked with Abigail for woven Roman cordless shades for five windows and a glass door. Very happy with the processes of selection, measurement, and installation. Even more happy with everything 18 months later. My experience with The Shade Store in Mosaic was wonderful from start to finish. I worked with Abigail (Abby), who provided great advice, was very helpful, friendly, and exemplary in every way. She followed up regularly and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. I was initially nervous that someone else came out to measure, but going into the store to work with her was the right choice since we could see all of the options in one place and there were examples in the showroom. The measurements were perfect and she even provided us with 3D renderings when we were uncertain on some of our choices. Abby also scheduled a follow up meeting for me with their technical team when I had a poor WiFi connection, which they quickly resolved. We are very happy with our purchase and love that we can use the app, remote, or Alexa to set our primary bedroom shades to open and close on a schedule. The process was flawless from selection through install and the support during and after has been a testament to the company. We can't thank Abby enough, as she made the experience as easy as possible and her personality made it enjoyable.

Abigail helped me select my sun protective shades for my living room and kitchen. She was on top of making the appointment for measurements and getting the order out. All went so smooth and effortless. I have beautiful shades. The quality is amazing. I will definitely work with Abigail at the Shade Store again!

My rep, Jan, was communicative and thorough and the installer who came to my home, Dexter, was kind, competent and professional. My experience was everything I expect from a professional window treatment manufacturer and supplier.

We replaced 4 shades about a year ago with very positive experience. It was a no-brainer to go back to replace 4 more for our guest bedrooms. The entire experience was simple, efficient and fast. Would highly recommend.

We just moved into a new home in Fairfax and needed new blinds for the house. We went to the Shade store and Abigail was great in assisting my wife and I in picking out the best options for our windows. We picked out the shades we wanted and they had someone come out and measure all the windows and came back and installed it within weeks. Overall we were very satisfied with the service and Abigail was so helpful throughout the process. She even followed up with us after the install to make sure we were satisfied with our choices.

This is my follow up post. I posted my original comments four or five weeks ago. It was an ordeal and painful process. Starting from ordering, measurement , manufacturing, and countless delays,all went wrong. I had to stay home more than six times for allowing them to correct their mistakes.Tow persons from shade store contacted me, John Rivera, and Collin Dunn. Both apologized and promise to compensate for my time. Eventually, l, got my blinds on 10/ 20/21.Since then, I have tried repeatedly to contact both gentlemen with no success. Walked in ready to buy. We were visually acknowledged by a worker who didn't bother to get up from her seat to say hi, or ask if we needed help. Saw shades we really liked but refused to go ask her for help. If the owner or supervisor is reading this post, train your employees. Step one in any retail store is greeting, so get with the program.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish, despite starting the process right before COVID-19 sent us into lockdown!Our sales consultant, Lisa S., was amazing. She was extremely patient with us through all of our questions and tendencies to change our minds ?. We knew roughly what we were looking for and she did an excellent job working with us to help guide our decision.During our in-store visit, she was attentive, worked with us to determine what we liked, and sent us home with a number of samples and excellent info on each. She let us talk amongst ourselves without hovering, but sensed when we had questions before we could even wave her over ?.She followed up with emails after our visit and after some radio silence on our end due to dealing with the lockdown, she gently touched base again, which we really appreciated as she was able to grab our attention without trying to "force a sale". She genuinely wanted to make sure we got what we wanted for our home, even if that meant us waiting for a while to make a decision. She was able to send additional samples directly to us after we had time to digest everything and we set up a video call where she helped us determine our final shades.She sent a rendering of what our shades would look like in our home based on photos we sent which was very helpful. She was patient with us as we asked for quotes on many variations, and she delivered in a very timely manner. The purchase was quick and painless and she set up the delivery and install at the same time.Our 2-person install crew was fantastic. Unfortunately I don't have their names, but the we're friendly, courteous, fast and efficient, made no mess, and left us with a beautiful install.The shades themselves are beautiful! We settled on simple roller shades in white (after going through many iterations digitally) with a remote control and rechargeable battery. They are quiet and operate perfectly. We particularly enjoy the soft glow when the sun is up and the shades are down.Lisa followed up a few days later to check in on the install and if we needed anything. She was a dream to work with and we will be contacting her for any future shade needs!Thank you Lisa and the Shade Store team!!

I got shades and draperies from the Shade Store at Mosaic District, Fairfax VA recently. Robin Kaplan helped me with the entire process and she is just amazing. The process could be quite overwhelming with all the beautiful choices available and I didn’t know where to begin. Robin patiently listened to me about my dream project and guided me with all different choices as if she was reading my mind. She gave me samples to take home and think about it so I was 100% sure with my options. It made it so much easier with Robin’s help. She also answered all my questions along the way from design to budget. All the ladies at the store are very welcoming and ready to help your vision becoming a reality. From picking materials and designs for each window, ordering to installation, Robin was there with me every step of the way. After installation, I wasn’t fully satisfied with one window and she immediately requested for adjustment. Talk about someone who understands “customer satisfaction.” I could not say enough about how great Robin is and the quality of Shade Store products. I would certainly recommend Shade Store for your window updates/upgrades and personally Robin would be my “go-to” designer for future projects.
