Just left this store. Walked around for 10 minutes and not a single one of the three employees who worked there said hello or asked if they could help me. The two women at the register continued to have a personal conversation and the other staff person stayed on her computer. Physically I look nothing like the staff. I guess if I had a different skin tone, they would at least say hello.

I walked into the store this morning. There was only one other customer in the store at the time. Neither employee that was there bothered to even acknowledge me. This is not the first time having this experience. Perhaps it was because I had just come from the gym and didn’t look worthy of attention or greeting. It’s too bad because I love the furniture in the store and in the market for replacing furniture in two rooms.

What a beautiful store with beautiful interiors, beautiful furnishings, beautiful decor, beautiful cards, and soft bunnies, bears, and dogs. If you're strolling down the street take a look inside. It's very welcoming and full of surprises.

We got “Rose Noir and Oud” diffuser as a Christmas gift. We’re not ones to put on candles really because they all smell way too sweet. But this is amazing. Really amazing smell ❤️❤️❤️

Great store! We've been frequenting for almost 20 years. Love the furniture and other items we've purchased from here to decorate our home over the years.My wife and I were walking by the store a few weeks ago after having dinner and was looking in the window. Store was closed but owner stopped by to catch up on some paperwork. He let us come in, look around and make a purchase.Always above and beyond. You'll love this place!!!

I live locally and have been to this store 3 times. Today was my third time in. The first two times (once with my husband) and once alone, I noticed that the staff is extremely not customer friendly. This is not a large store and the staff (usually 2-3 people at a time) CONSISTENTLY never greet you, say hello, acknowledge your existence, etc. I thought it was just me -- I work in sales myself and so I expect a level and quality of customer service and figured I was just being overly sensitive. My husband noticed too on our first time in. He is a different ethnicity and we figured it may be due to that. Nope, on my second time in, no one spoke to me or acknowledged my existence. Today, I went in with a friend (who wanted to go to this store for a specific item carried) and I decided to not share my previous experiences. Half way through our shopping (with about 5 items in our arms) she states 'you'd think with our arms full of merchandise they'd ask us for assistance.' I'm not surprised by some of the previous comments talking about the lackluster customer service - it is consistent with EVERY experience I've had here. They decided to perk up once we handed over our credit cards but could not have cared for our business prior to. Really interesting that they continue to stay in business. Will be taking mine elsewhere. Best of luck, Nest Egg!

Very sweet shop!! Quality gift items for child and adult. Beautiful household furniture and custom carpeting and upholstery. Definitely worth your while to stop in. Highly recommend.

The awful team need to take lessons in how to be kind and friendly! I guess the place is just awful coming from DC looks like those folks don't know how to deal with people with differences. Would never shop here again! Nor recommend the place. We walked in the store with my toddler, no one greeted us or ask if we need help although we were looking for chairs. But obviously no one was interested to help! My kid was interested in the stories section we picked a book together and went for check out! The lady on the cashier is extremely rude. She ignored my child more than once. and i have even told my child who kept saying thank you not because of the woman attitude shes clearly just ignoring and being arrogant. All an all I did not feel welcomed obviously ??

Wanted to enjoy the store! But the attitude of the people wasn't welcoming and felt very uncomfortable being in such placeSelling things worth thousands doesnt mean that disrespecting people is fine and tolerated … i am paying for everything… wont be getting anything from anyone of you for free …I came in today with my family with an intention of purchasing couple of things but what we saw was absolutely disappointing…Thank god i only wasted couple of dollars over there …NEVER SHOP THERE … but no one there cares …I wish i can give less than one star

The only place to go for gorgeous gifts for housewarming, babies, and more. We got our sofa as part of their floor sale several years ago and still adore it. So nice to have a wonderful boutique in the big box burbs.

Nest egg- is a shop to find unique items for all kind if individuals. Pricey but worth the look! Only one thing unable to find the dark chocolate with peanuts so delish but since the pandemic its been out of stock. Take a stroll you will enjoy just looking....
