Best way to find a competent mechanic is to ask a trusted friend, relative, neighbor, co-worker, etc who they go to. Short of that, you can go to a place yourself and patiently talk to them, use your brains and intuition and you'll probably get a good idea, based on what they say and don't say if they're likely good eggs or bad eggs. Then, you might use them for a simple repair first, if that's all you currently need, and see if it satisfied your expectations. I think you'll eventually conclude as I did that you wont be thinking about other shops after you find this one. Anyone can write anything on Yelp or Google reviews. of course. Some shops that I know to be untrustworthy have mostly good reviews, so the only way is to ask around and do a little upfront research or you're just spinning the dice.

All these years, I have been using the dealer maintenance and repair service. But lately, I felt that they were not doing efficient work and overcharging me. After having a dispute with their pricing for fixing an oil leak, for which I had to visit 3 times, on my way back home, I stopped at Sunoco to fill gas. While filling the gas, I talked to the service technician, and he was interested in looking at the problem. After thoroughly examined, he suggested that the glue was broken around the oil pan and to replace the oil pan with new glue. The cost was 1/3 of what the dealer was asking. Cautiously, I wanted to try this new place as I was very much disappointed with the dealer, and I had no place else to go. I waited almost 6 months just to see how solid the fix was. A big thanks to the technician, I am so happy that the problem never came back. In the future, I would take all my vehicles to this place for routine maintenance and repair services. Also, I wanted to make this post so you all can trust and get the best service from this place.

I received great service for my 06 Corolla recently, fixed a P0171, O2 sensor that was difficult to diagnose. Fast service at a very reasonable price!

Took my car in for emissions it came out as a fail even though none of my lights were on prior to it going in.came out with every light on my right side of the dash we’re going off airbag,abs,tire and slippery road lights. I asked the man to clear the codes and he continued to say he just plugged it in and then plugged it out and that it was not his fault. NEVER AGAIN!

10/18/21 This was the fastest car fill ups I have ever experienced. Maybe it had to do with me being on my phone Yelping a bit. Maybe I was admiring the world view of the streets, or maybe I was lost in my thought. Whatever the case is, I need a drink like Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats were singing about. (If you haven't heard of him, look up S.O.B by him or Howeling At Nothing). I bought two more Bai drinks of Blueberry and Costa Rica Clementine. These drinks have 1 gram of sugar and zero added sugar. Something good for diabetics. The cashier rang me up, but it did not go through. I redid the ring up and it worked. I walked out of the place and headed back to my car. I suddenly got the though that I was charged twice. I will check my account later and hold on to the receipt. My mind is just thinking about a number of the health insurance scams I have seen while trying to get medical insurance. All and all. This was a positive experience here.

Poor quality low-grade gas here. My car does not run well when I fill it up with gas at this station and the other Sunoco by Fairfax circle. Engine performance is weak on this gas, engine was struggling. Fuel economy/mpg was down as well. But with Shell, Exxon, or Costco gas, car is zippy with quick acceleration and full power. I filled up at another Sunoco in Ashburn and that was also high quality gasoline and my engine performed at full potential. We should send samples to a lab to find out what's going on.

This is a wishy-washy establishment they open and close whenever they feel like it. They advertise everywhere that they are open till midnight but in reality they shut their pumps off and turn their lights off before 10:45pm. Then when you ask them why they are closed they say we close at 11 even though you were there talking to them before 11 and the pumps are already off. Dont waste your time here.
