This is the worst place ever I called and made a appointment for rental assistance and she told me the 15th and then I called the 14th to see everything I need to have for them to tell me that I don’t have a appointment and then offer me a later day oh and clearly I’m coming to you all because I need help so unprofessional and whoever’s answering the phones don’t need to be y’all need someone else to do if they can’t answer the phones correctly on a business level

We scheduled a pickup for Saturday, 21 October 2023; we are 72 years old. We hauled 13 suitcases, a mattress, boxspring, headboard and 48 other heavy, full boxes of items down 2 flights of stairs and down a steep driveway--ALL ITEMS WERE ON THE SA WEBSITE AS SUITABLE FOR DONATIONS! We were stop number 5, and the truck was completely empty at 11:30 AM. The driver and assistant refused to take any of our items. When I opened the boxes to show new nursing uniforms, new stuffed animals with tags still on them, etc., he reluctantly took only 2 those 2 boxes. Then he offered to take everything, remaining (if we paid him!) to a dump.Outrageous. Clearly, driver did not want to work that day. It was insulting to offer to dump our items, to demand money, and to have the SA forfeit our donations.

I wouldn’t give anything to Salvation Army again. They pick and choose what they want and then leave you with other items to find a home for. Their drivers were rude. Go with another charity that is appreciative

Called to donate and they came to pick up rudest guys I ever dealt with and then slammed my door on the way out. Way to thank people who donate and very unprofessional.

Salvation army will not pick up calls or responds to message left on their voicemail. Terrible for people who plege to serve people in distress.If you have to apply for anything there, walk-in. They will never return your call.I'm talking From own experience

I went and I was in line when a lady was answering the door and she said that they were angry, especially the Hispanics, I don't know why she expressed herself like that and I had never visited there and I was disappointed and I came quickly because that lady shouldn't say like that because if They are going to give their time, they must not be Racists and that was where they sign up for Christmas gifts for the children.
